I am writing to ask everyone to send up prayers for my Mother in North Carolina. She has not been feeling well and having some numbness and pain in her legs and her blood sugar was really high as well. She is a wonderful woman, a Christian and one of those people that God especially blessed with the love and compassion to help so many. Now it is her turn for help and I would appreciate all of your prayers and love. Her tests conclude tomorrow and hopefully we will get good news soon thereafter. Thank you all and may God bless you. As someone who doesnt usually pray or practice religion. I have to tell you what a coincidence it is running across your post today. Things were very dark for me this week. Very dark! I prayed. ( I rarely pray). I believe now that God sent me to a certain place,,at a certain time, and met a certain person who reached out to me and put me on a path to solving my problems. He is my new employer and his first words to me were, "Roy, are you a Christian?". Very coincidental. So today I feel that God is close, And I will ask him to give your loving mother strength, and the love of the Father. What a good day this is.

God bless and heal your mother. I know how loved our parents are, and how missed they are when they pass on, having just put my dear father of 87 years in the grave this week.
My love and thoughts go out to you. I know your loss is great and it is hard for me to express in words that which I know in my heart is true. Your dear Father is in a place more wonderful than imaginable. Keep his memories close in your heart and know that I too keep you in my prayers.

I'm not sure what scripture it is, but this has always comforted me in times of darkness: "If you see yourself overwhelmed by suffering, know that redemption is near, as it says 'G-d will answer you on the day of trouble.'"
UPDATE: First of all, my thanks and my love go out to all of you who are praying for my sweet Mother. She had a cat scan, bloodwork, x-rays and an MRI and they have determined some sort of upper neck problem in her vertebrae. She also has some significant arthritis and they have found she is definitely diabetic so God does work in mysterious ways as she is getting everything taken care of to restore her health. They are going to do surgery as soon as possible so please keep her in your prayers. They have to do the surgery as this could lead to total paralysis so she is in a lot of pain and having numbness, etc and we hope they will be able to get it done next week. I will keep you all informed. Thank you again for your prayers.
