Hey Jim... was this a record? I've never seen a Freepathon reach its goal so quickly!
I think we got there so quickly for two reasons.
1. I didn't have to see the pic of the Bird.
2. We didn't have to see the pic of "ole crusty".
Ditto that. Do you remember 6 months ago, it took an EXTREMELY long time. WOO HOOOOOOO US!!!!!
Did you see that banner shot over $50,000 when Jim Rob kicked in the monthlies? I think that's a big part of the quick success.

This is awesome....
It seems to me that we should be able to rent "space" on another server when we know in advance that the load will be heavy i.e. election night. I figure most big corporations, for example, have servers not doing much in the overnight hours. Wouldn't they like to defray some of their IT costs by renting their use temporarily?
Was that the Freepathon that lasted something like 10 DAYS?
Seemed to last forever.....
