Well, we know the Clintons are ONLY for the Clintons. They will position themselves so as to be winners in this deal no matter what. And if they overtly came out against the Kerry campaign it would look self-serving and prevent them from accepting cushy positions on the event--which we MUST prevent!!!--that he is elected (it is hard to even type that!!)

Why? Why would Hillary support Kerry?

BECAUSE. If he wins, she is again PRESIDENT. Kerry and Edwards have no idea what to do as President, nor the inclination to accomplish anything but attain fame and fortune for themselves. That means Hillary can work undercover from her job as SENATOR to really run the country.

I completely agree that Clinton desperately desires to be Secretary General and his globe-trotting and pandering to foreign countries was part of an ongoing and aggressive Sec. Gen. campaign. However, as a US citizen, Clinton is ineligible. Under UN bylaws the Secretary General may not be from a country with a seat on the Security Council. Accordingly, for Clinton to fufill his aspiration, the US would have to lose it's permanent seat.

Slick to UN Secretary General? I think that I read on another thread that no citizen of a permanent member of the Security Council (US, Russia, Britain, France & PRC) can become SecGeneral of the UN. It's supposed to be in the UN Charter.

Could it be that Bill Clinton wants to be the leader of One World Government?

This whole Hillary thing is totally overrated. She is a non-viable candidate.

I see it this way, the Clintons want it to look like they`re supporting Kerry, they basically fired Carvell and Begala for screwing up years ago. They don`t want Kerry to win. If he wins, she won`t run in`08 he`ll be going for reelection. She likely can`t run in `12 because Edwards will have been groomed over the last 8 years, and it`ll be his turn. Unless of course Kerry administration turns out to be the unmitigated disaster we all know it`ll be, then lil`John won`t get the nomination. Here`s the plot, after whatever October surprise they leak to the Republicans, Kerry loses big time and they lead the "reformation" of the Democratic party. A kinder, gentler party of the people. Then in `08 Hell-ary wins by a landslide in the "feel-good" election of all time. We have no strong opponent for her. The U.S. becomes the U.S.S.R.ofA. and the world as we know it ends. Now where is my book deal?

Hillary's real ambition is to become the first female president, well, unlike her first time around where she ran the Clinton administration as THE shadow president. She wants to take the oath herself.

Hillary's desire right now is to just maintain control of the democrats. A Kerry win would throw all her plans in the toilet. What better way to explain Kerry's poll numbers before and after the Clinton crew took over in his campaign?

HILLARY NEEDS FOR KERRY TO LOSE

Otherwise, Kerry takes control of the party and she is $#!+ outta luck leading up to 2008.
