Sounds like a great book, has anyone gotten it yet?
It is either not yet released or just coming out...
Is this "War in the Shadows" that was published in 1975? I've brought the 2 volume set used on Amazon but haven't read it yet. I'm presently reading "War of the Flea" another great book.
I was listening to Roger Hedgecock, too, and the book sounded great! Time to go to Amazon...

No, It's called "Shadow War: How the Bush administration is winning the war on terror.
It's filled with War on Terror stories from around the globe and it sounds very very intrguing. I don't buy many books, only two political in my life (First Hannity book and first Savage book), but I definently plan on checking this one out.
A few things from it that I can remember from his interview with Hedgecock.. Some intelligence agencies believe bin Laden is in Iran.. There was an assasination plot against Bush last October that was foiled.. stories from Tora Bora and many other things.
In response to Kerry/Edwards assertion that we shouldn't have outsourced the US Military to Afghan warlords in Tora Bora, and that we should have had tens of thousands of troops there, the writer said (I forget his name) that the Kerry strategy was the same strategy the Soviet Union used in the 80s in Tora Bora and they were slaughtered.

Absolutely! GW should just read from this text Friday night! It's so hard to battle someone with the freedom to say anything he wants (Lurch) without fear of being challenged when you (GW) are trying to keep intel from the enemy.... These stats should be shouted from the mountaintops! God help us if any lib ever ascends to this lands highest office...ever...
Thanks I looked it up on Amazon it sounds like a good read. I'm in the middle of Tommy Franks new book "American Soldier" right now and it's a real eye opener too.
