buah cannot say that the economy is bad due to the terrorist attacks because that would acknowledge that the terrorist strike "worked" to hurt america. bush doesn't want to concede anything to the terrorist or embolden them to make another strike. kerry opportunistically blames bush for the economy, while never mentioning the terrorist. american pride must be protected at all costs but everybody knows anyway. for this reason i believe voters will support bush.
I believe he did say that the terrorist attacks cost us 1 million jobs.
The economy is good...in fact, one could argue that we are in the middle of a boom.
This boom will continue for the foreseeable future.
>>This boom will continue for the foreseeable future.<<
Only if, Lord willing, GWB is reelected!
The President is between a rock and a hard place in these debates and any of these idiot pundits should know that... just because the French are dising us -- if he does it to them then he's causing Europe to hate us, yada, yada, he can't say things that encourage terrorists to attack us.
this post is not worthy.
I meant to say this thread is not worthy... yikes.. too many brewskies tonight.
He also has trouble with "nuclear".
The DUmbarses on the left that seem to think that there are soup lines all around us apparently haven't been here to Nevada where unemployment is at a record low and we've got new jobs coming out of our butts.
Of course, it's probably like George Costanza said "It's not a lie if you believe it." So it goes with the Dems....
The Shift key is your friend.
(I am become death, the destroyer of vanity posts.)
What are you trying to say???
Bush has said that the attacks on 9/11 have taken a toll on the economy, from which we are now rebounding. What Bush cannot or at least is avoiding saying is that France, Russia and Germany were among the alliance of the bribed. It seems as though Bush considers it unstateman-like to openly criticize and accuse other countries, the way they accuse the US.
I hate the way he says, but I'm not so sure, its a mispronunciation. It might be some kind of accent.
I've noticed a few people who say it the way he does (not counting Jimmy Carter) and they were from some part of the south.
Personally, I hate it, but it does seem to drive the liberals absolutley nuts.
I think it loosely translates out to "UNNNGH!"
(Explanation of "unnngh.." found at thread titled: unnngh..)
Self-appointed wanker who takes up bandwidth for people with slower computers by including picture in a useless post. Sheesh. This thread starts with an interesting premise; I've been enjoying reading the responses, and then I come to your pointless arrogant post that offers nothing to the discussion. If you don't like the thread, SKIP IT!
You're right -- I hadn't thought of it in those terms, but Dubya is in a damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't kind of place. It's worth remembering and will be ammo when talking with Liberals. Thanks for pointing it out.

Owl_Eagle and myself went on a vanity-hijacking spree following the first Presidential Debate. I set the tagline during that time, as a joke, and haven't yet come up with anything entertaining enough to replace it.
That's all, nothing more.
This is an interesting viewpoint. I think you are correct.
