no it wasn't. it was meant to alert the "religious right" that there was a homosexual in the Bush campaign. nothing compassionate about it.

I disagree. It was not supposed to show anything other than what it was...a blatant attack on a child of a political opponent. It will not die. Kerry stepped on it. He knows it. McAulliffe knows it. His whole party knows it.
