Sounds good to me!
I purposely went to Ebert's site yesterday having previously bet that he would give it one star or less. He's such an *&^%hole.
I haven't been to a movie theater in over 2 years, but I might go see this one.
"I was first!"
Damnit! Yes, you were. Great minds, etc.!
"Strings: 4"
God, that's hilarious!
When I read on Drudge, that Sean Penn was 'majorly pissed' at this movie, and went so far as to write them a letter that signed off with, 'and a sincere F**k You', I KNEW it was going to be a 'must see'.
So glad to read that the review was a blistering attack on the pompous self-important liberal (and diseased) actors, and political correctness.
Liberalism is a mental illness. --
Filmmaker and director Andy Sidaris is the king of the "bullets & bikinis" genre. :) A multiple-Emmy winning former director of ABC's WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS, he makes movies that are filled with PLAYBOY and PENTHOUSE models like Julie Srain, Julie Smith, Shae Marks, Wendy Hamilton, Dona Spier, Devin DeVasquez, and others. They are always good vs. evil flicks with the good guys always winning, and always nudity-heavy (though NOT hardcore). His last few films have been my favorites, with both Julies and Shae as members of the good-guy L.E.T.H.A.L. Force (Legion to Ensure Total Harmony And Law). You can read more about his stuff at www.andysidaris.com.
That right there is worth the price of admission.
i just got back from seeing it ......AMERICA , F#*K YEAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!
***Puppet sex....im all over that. LMAO***
I heard a joke this week.
A puppet and his puppet girl friend made love.
She complained of splinters,
so he asked the puppeteer to fix it.
The puppeteer gave the puppet some sandpaper and said,
when a splinter comes up, stroke it with this.
Several weeks later the puppeteer asked the puppet how his girl friend was.
The puppet said, with a smile on his face,
Who needs a girlfriend!
Bad me!
It's been a long time since my husband & I got a babysitter to go do something, but this movie is a must-see.
And I love the timing of its releaase, LOL!
TRIVIA:
Anyone remember this and from what movie?
Liberals are so stupid! The media complained about the Swift Boat Vets for Truth ads so much that it guaranteed that everyone would see them. They they've whined and moaned some much about the Sinclair Broadcasting airing of the anti-Kerry film that they gave it more publicity than Sinclair could have generated. And now Sean Penn's bellyaching also guarantees that millions will go see this film just to see his big yap blown off.
Here I thought the rumor was that it was bad for our side! I guess I'll go check it out then.
The play the actor Gary was in was called "Lease" (as opposed to "Rent") Wasn't that the play where all the actors were HIV positive? I think that's where the idea for "Everybody's Got AIDS" came from.
This is the second glowing review I've read about this movie. The first was about how Sean Penn hated it!
Deborah Norville had them on for a half hour last night -- they are funny and HATE democrats. They particularly hate Barbra Streisand ~LOL~
Roger Ebert should lay off the fatty foods.
Hey, Thank you for your service.
The FNG shows up for duty. He's shown around the camp by someone whose been there a while. The FNG asks what they do about sex. The short timer takes him out in back of the mess tent, shows him a camel. FNG says, "Well, I don't think I'll get that horney." Other guy says, "You'd be surprised what you're willing to do for sex after a month in the desert".
A month goes by. The FNG finally asks the guy about getting the camel for a night. "See, I told you so," he says.
The next day his buddy sees the FNG and asks him "So, how was it last night". THe FNG says, "Well, it was weird at first, but I closed my eyes and thought of Angeline Jolie as I made love to that camel."
His buddy takes a step back and says "Whoa, man. Whatever turns you on, but we take the camel into town to visit one of the local cat houses."
(sorry this is an oldie but a goodie!)
