Heard radio commercial at Noon today on WGN AM 720, Chicago. Go to http://www.johnkerry.com/burlington and get tickets for the big rally in Burlington, Iowa on Wednesday October 20, 2004.
If you go to that site, you see:
What: Fresh Start for America Rally with John Edwards in Burlington
When: Wednesday, October 20
Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Southeastern Community College
Loren Walker Arena
West Burlington, IA
Asks for your mailing address, phone number, and email.
Maybe you(or family, or friends) live in Iowa, Illinois, or Missouri.
Or, maybe you can find some new friends that live in Iowa, Illinois, or Iowa.
You could pose as an empty seat in West Burlington, Iowa.
Who says you have to give them the proper address?
Is this area Deep-Blue, Medium-Blue or Swing? How did it vote in 2000?
This is Medium-Blue Territory Des-Moines County went 60-40 for Gore in 2000. Another base play by Kerry/Edwards.
My point was for Freepers to ask for tickets in their/anyone's name. That might cause an attendance problem for this.
I'd rather have tickets for the next Tanya Harding Championship boxing bout.
There's no reason to go to Burlington, for Kerrey, except to rev up his base.
Oh I say go, Don't heckle because that will make us look bad.
Better Idea is to whenever a camera points at you, just YAWN or just keep your eyes closed and lower your head so you look like you are falling asleep
