LAHORE, Pakistan (CNN) -- Pakistani intelligence agencies have arrested two suspected al Qaeda members in separate raids in Peshawar and Lahore, the nation's information minister has said. In Peshawar, the raid of a house netted Abdul Rehman, described by Pakistani intelligence as a "foreigner," Information Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said. Rehman, who was known as "Electronic" within al Qaeda, was also wanted by U.S. intelligence, Ahmed said. The second al Qaeda suspect -- a Yemeni man -- was arrested in Lahore late Wednesday. Intelligence tracked him as he traveled from Wana, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, through Islamabad and on to Lahore. Ahmed said he was planning to return to Yemen through the Arabian Sea. Without giving details, Pakistani intelligence said he was carrying some important documents with him.

"Yasin also fled to Baghdad but was greeted with suspicion and put in jail."

Iraq is holding accused World Trade Center bomber Abdul Rahman Yasin in jail and has made two offers to hand him over to the United States but was rejected both times, the CBS News program ``60 Minutes'' reported on Sunday. CBS broadcast excerpts of an interview with Yasin, who is on the FBI's list of 22 most wanted terrorists, which it conducted last month at the Baghdad prison where the Iraqis told the network he had been held for eight years. "

You're right, WPtG... that is one fancy prison uniform... Especially for Baghdad's standards. It's definitely an "in your face" on Saddam's part to Bush. BTW - He sure got fat in 8 years in Saddam's prisons. (compared to his FBI mugshot).

Do you think it was May of this year (2004)?
Looks like it might have been in 2002.
What do you think?

Is there any way you can add "Abdul Rahman Yasin???" in parenthesis to the title of this thread?

Found the transcript of the interview between CBS' Stahl and Yasin (in "prison pajamas")... Right off the bat, it's got me laughing:

STAHL: Does he have to have these handcuffs? Can someone please remove them?

Transcript: The Yasin Interview

Everyone should read this interview... How many of us knew that Yasin was on WELFARE? Receiving taxpayer dollars to live while he plotted the WTC attack in 93??

From this link...
HusseinandTerror.com

Former ABC News correspondent Sheila MacVicar looked for Yasin, and here is what she reported on July 27, 1994: “Last week, [television program] Day One confirmed [Yasin] is in Baghdad…Just a few days ago, he was seen at [his father’s] house by ABC News. Neighbors told us Yasin comes and goes freely.” 15
