Around here, possums mostly stick to the middle of the road.

This is a good point. Pollsters with an agenda to promote the KerryEdwards campaign also must think about their own credibility in the event that Bush is a fairly easy winner. They don't want to be seen as sitting on evidence favoring Bush.

If there are undecided, they must be in a coma on life support with a breathing tube shoved down their throats.

I just don't think that that 4% will vote at all, if it really exists

I'd bet they must be 100% of the 5.4% who are still "unemployed".

Oh my gosh if you are still undecided you are borderline retarded.

I was walking neighborhoods today for the president and our Republican US Senate candidate. I met quite a few people who were undecided about the senate race. I met even a few people who were undecided about the presidential race.

Here's a tip. Stop saying stupid things like you just said. I don't know why these people haven't made a choice, but calling them "retarded" is not the way to earn their vote. I appreciate the fact that without strong feelings either way they are still willing to consider supporting my candidates. I appreciate that they are polite to me and are willing to read the information that I bring.

Are you doing anything at all to help a campaign? Are you doing anything at all to help these people make the right choice? Are you doing anything at all to make sure that people who like the president will be certain to make the effort to cast their votes on election day? Are you walking your talk or are you just someone who sits in front of a computer ranting?

Bill

"Oh my gosh if you are still undecided you are borderline retarded"

We had a little story about retarded people in an election about a dozen years ago in the Empire State. The local dem party bussed a bunch of these folk into the polling places, and a saavy reporter interviewed one of the charges as to where he was going. The reply? "Bowling! We're going bowling!"

FOX should run a special episode of "AMERICAN IDOL" on Election night. All of these undecided fools would certainly stay home!

"Undecided" at this point is another way of saying "apathetic." I actually know a guy who claims to be "undecided." Upon a little questioning it turns out he knows NOTHING about what is going on in the world nor does he care. His chances of actually voting are somewhere between NIL and NONE. They just tell pollsters they are "undecided" to cover up the fact that they are STUPID.
