MSNBC has posted the transcript of the Scarborough show from Friday night (click on the link).
(Excerpt) Read more at msnbc.msn.com ...
Just heard Laura Ingraham play several clips. What a POS that O"Donnell is
yea just heard some clips on laura
that guy was out of line!!!!
email msnbc about it!
By the way, where is Joe Scarborough?
Joe has a bad back and been away for the past 2 weeks or so,
sometimes they link him up from Florida, the other day they just had him on the phone and that is when he mentioned he had a bad back........I hope he is better and they can at least do the show from Florida........he's quite convinced Bush is winning this election.....
O'Donnell is a political hack, makes Carville look mild by comparison.
SOB ODonnell!!
I wrote a gazillon emails to Scarborough about this....but today I am writing him, asking WHEN he is going to come on the show and condem ODonnells treatment of John ONeil.. and when is MSNBC going to make ODonnell apologise... I think everyone SHOULD email and ask those two questions.....
He should have a suspension for at least 2 weeks and that would be getting off easy. People lose their jobs over things like this, like Micheal Savage did.
One thing I've noticed: Bush supporters, for the most part, have class, respect the law, social norms and conventions, and in general seem to be decent people.
The Kerry supporters, for the most part, are none of those things, but instead are unbalanced, unhinged, and seem to be willing to say or do anything, no matter what the consequences, no matter who or what gets hurt, to acquire political power. Voter fraud, character assault and slander, union thugs trashing political offices, etc. are all completely acceptable ways to acquire power. Whatever it takes.
Seems fairly evil to me to sell one's political or moral soul to acquire political power.
Is that the show Buchanan hosted?
I don't know the guy's name, but here's the transcript:
Dem nutjob: (screaming) LIAR LIAR BLAH BLAH LIAR
O'Neill: Facts Facts Facts etc
Dem nutjob: (screaming) LIAR LIAR VIETNAM KERRY LIAR BLAH BLAH
O'Neill: Facts Facts more Facts etc
The Dem nutjob simply confirmed he's an out-of-control nutjob.
O'Neill came off really well, he remained calm and stuck to the facts, which really drove the other guy insane.
Thanks for posting it. When you hear it it's just a bunch of intimidation. On paper, though, there are some important points being made.
The most important to me is that Kerry pushed a Vietcong plan that would have required the US to leave first, and then negotiate for the release of the POW's. The POW's believe today (and doubtless believed then) that a plan like that one would have resulted in their never being returned. It would have sealed their fate as victims of VC murder.
I never knew this before.
Here to talk about it are Jack Burkman, Republican strategist, and Lawrence ODonnell, MSNBCs senior political analyst, until later tonight.
Also, Frank Luntz was pretty disguested with O'Donnell. Frank said this:
FRANK LUNTZ, POLLSTER: Well, Im afraid to comment, because, Lawrence, who I like very much and I enjoy his company, is probably going to call me a liar five times
and then this:
I will be very grateful 10 days from now when this election is over, because all this yelling and screaming and this intensity of hatred from one side to another is out of control. And I have got to tell you, in walking the streets of either swing states like Iowa or Ohio, or New York, L.A., people have just had it with all the yelling and all theits crap. Its too much.
Moral relativity allows one to behave any way one feels like with no care for facts or consequences. It also makes one a spoiled brat who's miserable whether they get their way or not.
Tried finding an email address for MSNBS management to let them know how I feel but found nothing but Larry O'A$$hole's email address.
NE1 got a link?
I had the misfortune of seeing O'Donnell on the MacLaughlin group this weekend, and O'Donnell's screed of the day was "if the President can't protect us against the flu, how can he protect us againt bioterrorism?"
Not a mention of how Hillary and Edwards drove the vaccine makers out of the country etc.
He is delusionsal and a grade A liar, a shill for Kerry who will say ANYTHING to help Kerry win.
I will no longer be watching the MacLaughlin group.
I now think the way that whole Cheney daughter thing played out, that that would have been the right line, thatsuggesting surprise at the offense, but if youve taken the offense, Im sorry.
BURKMAN: Do you think its OK that they attacked Cheneys daughter?
ODONNELL: They didnt attack the daughter.
BURKMAN: Well, do you think what they said is OK?
ODONNELL: Yes.
BURKMAN: Is it?
ODONNELL: Yes.
(CROSSTALK)
ODONNELL: Shes a lesbian and she has lesbian sex.
BURKMAN: But is appropriate to call attention, for a presidential candidate...
ODONNELL: The reason I know that is that her father told me.
(CROSSTALK)
ODONNELL: Her father and mother told me shes a lesbian and has lesbian sex.
(CROSSTALK)
BURKMAN: Thats not the issue.
(CROSSTALK)
BURKMAN: Thats not the issue.
My question is, do you think its appropriate for a person seeking the highest office in the world to raise that in a presidential debate?
ODONNELL: Because I believe there is nothing negative about lesbianism, and Im very much in favor of as much lesbianism as lesbians want to create in the world, and as many of lesbian Cheney family members as they want to have is all fine by me, I see nothing negative.
(CROSSTALK)
BURKMAN: Ill tell you, Pat. Even Bill Clinton and Al GoreAl Gore, who in the 2000 campaign use every dirty and scurrilous tactic known to man, they did not...
ODONNELL: Dirty, scurrilous lesbians. Dirty, scurrilous lesbians.
....
This boy needs some serious help. There's a grade schooler, in need of a serious time out, trapped in an adult's body.
