Since President Bush did nothing wrong, nor did our troops, yes, it is good for him.
Let's look at the big picture here:
The bottom line allegation was our troops were not informed this type of material was at the complex and needed to be taken care of.
The media, and Kerry then outrageously embellished, stated the stuff was stolen by the enemy under our noses and is being used against our troops now and it's all Bush's fault.
The bottom line of all the stories since are that our troops were there, the stuff could not have been stolen all at once in large quantities after we were in Iraq, and the over-all evidence has always been that our troops have gathered up and secured/and or destroyed the material, as they continue to do up to this day.
The negligence argument from the media and Kerry is completely false.
I have suffered from actual panic attacks for years and I am having to take medication regularly until the election is over.
I saw a democrat on Fox news a while ago backtracking by saying that this story is just "background noise". HHHAAA

Actually it was always less than 380 a UN report on Fox last night showed, that the UN said only 217 tons was at the complex, 380 had been years before. But Saddam used some of the other stuff over the years.
For the first time this week, Kerry didn't mention the missing weapons in his speech today.
As you said both can be true. The main thing for all to consider is that NOTHING in WAR is LINEAR except TIME. Chaos is the rule with slight interruptions of planning,coordination and organized efforts. This story like all others the MSM has tried to bash the Military and Bush with isn't worth a 'thinking' man's moment or two consideration.
A bit off topic, but the Bush campaign should be ready for another "October Surprise" to hit the wires sometime late this afternoon. The 2000 DUI charge should be instructive to all at the RNC and they need to respond immediately.
A bombshell "news" item released today has the full impact on the weekend news cycle and the Kerryites knows it.
