Bush Victory Center volunteers assaulted in Cuyahoga County
10.29.04 | ohioWfan

Posted on 10/29/2004 3:30:59 PM PDT by ohioWfan

I just heard on an Akron radio station that two women volunteers at the Cuyahoga County Bush Victory Center were assaulted by thugs from ACORN, 50 of whom descended on the Headquarters to 'protest.'

One woman was hit in the stomach, and the other in the arm and the leg. I also heard that charges would be pressed.

This has got to STOP!

If anyone has more details, please post them here.....

Good job, Guennie! Way to hang in there. I tell you, this is the demoCRAT. This is the party that will bring this country down to destruction if we don't vote it out to the very last one of them. You and I both know that this is not going to happen, save Divine Intervention. We have our vote, but beyond this is, the only power remaining we have is prayer. I don't understand why God gave us a "No" or a "No, wait" to our prayers to get rid of x042 in 1996 and the impeachment in 1999, EXCEPT I greatly fear, it might have something to do with the abortions going on in America. It might be His judgment on us. If kerry wins, the abortions will go astronomical. God may see that there are enough people in America that want this....and we will pay for it with our country.

"I am telling you, if Bush wins on Tuesday, EXPECT ORGANIZED RIOTS! They will cause riots around the country. Bet on it."

Gosh I hope so.....nothing better than a group of liberals, anarchists and faggots getting the snot kicked out of them by the local police.....

If we're really lucky the Boston Police will break out their paintball guns again loaded with CS balls.....

Now that's great television.....

Chill the beer, pop the corn and ready the easy chair, it will be a great show!

Christians lie down in the road and a steam-roller rolled over them, feet first.

I'm more of a "praise the Lord, and pass the ammunition" kind of Christian, myself....

Bar owner's wife indicted

Pam Horrocks faces voter fraud charges, as does her husband

By GLENN PUIT
REVIEW-JOURNAL

The wife of North Las Vegas bar owner Gary Horrocks was indicted Friday on charges she conspired with her husband to rig an election.

An indictment was unsealed before District Judge Valerie Adair charging Pam Horrocks with seven felonies and one misdemeanor.

According to authorities, Pam and Gary Horrocks tried to use fraudulently filled out voter registration cards, requests for absentee ballots, and other voting documents in a plot to influence the Assembly District 37 race in November.

"Obviously, the district attorney's office and the grand jury thought there was probable cause to bring the charges," Clark County prosecutor Christopher Laurent said.

Pam Horrocks' attorney, Michael Cristalli, could not immediately be reached for comment Friday.

Pam Horrocks' indictment comes three weeks after her husband was indicted on 60 felonies relating to the Assembly race, in which Democrat Marcus Conklin defeated Republican Francis Allen by just 134 votes.

Authorities say Gary Horrocks, whom Allen defeated in the Republican primary, committed voter fraud because he wanted to ensure Allen lost in the general election.

Voter fraud charge an issue in District 118:Indicted Green Party operative
By Chris Busby
PORTLAND – At first, Green Party Rep. John Eder didn’t think his opponent, Democratic Rep. Ed Suslovic, would use last week’s indictment of a Green campaign worker against Eder in the campaign for House District 118.

The worker, Ben Chipman, was indicted on a misdemeanor charge of attempting to influence a voter filling out an absentee ballot during a House campaign in Biddeford earlier this year. Campaign workers can deliver absentee ballots, but are prohibited by law from attempting to influence a voter’s decision during such interactions.

Eder was not involved in the Biddeford campaign, which also resulted in the indictment of three other Green Party campaign workers, but Chipman is his legislative aide, responsible for helping Eder with constituent services.

Fix problems with administration of law, but now isn't time to scrap system

It's too early to think about repealing a new law requiring South Dakota voters to show photo identification at the polls.
The law was prompted after allegations of voter fraud surfaced during and after the 2002 U.S. Senate election between incumbent Democrat Tim Johnson and Republican John Thune.
Johnson was re-elected by 524 votes.
Subsequent investigations into the fraud allegations resulted in a grand jury indictment against a woman, but two weeks before the trial, the state dismissed the charges.
Lawmakers decided the state needed some additional protection to prevent possible improprieties in the future.
That's how the new voter ID law came about.
The law isn't perfect. But it's a starting point. And despite some problems at individual polling places, it's not time to scrap the idea entirely.
Under the statute, all voters must show a photo ID when they go to the polls. Voters who don't have a photo ID are asked to sign an affidavit swearing to their identity under penalty of perjury.

Very good point. I should have either not made the comment or qualified it by limiting my opinion to big city officers only.

Because ACORN uses mostly minorities to perform their dirty work (directed by socialist, white, elitists for the most part).
