Use Your Cellphones To Help Re-Elect Bush---NOW (MUST READ!!!)
Self | November 1, 2004 | PJ-Comix

Posted on 11/01/2004 3:20:47 PM PST by PJ-Comix

I found out something VERY IMPORTANT today. You can use your cellphone to help re-elect Bush.

Here is what happened. Like many of you, I was suffering the election jitters due to the seesawing polls. So this afternoon I took a walk to work off the tension. While doing so, I was listening to Rush Limbaugh on my portable radio. Anyway, Rush was doing an interview with Gov. Jeb Bush and Rush mentioned that a lot of Republicans haven't gotten phone calls yet from GOP workers to go vote. At that point, Jeb mentioned that regular folks could simply call the folks from their cellphone caller list and urge them to vote for Bush. I stopped in mid-step at that thought and whipped out my cellphone and immediately starting making calls from my caller list before the radio interview was even over.

GUESS WHAT??? I got great results right away! First I called Barbara who is completely apathetic when it comes to politics. I figured that I could talk her into voting. Well, it turned out that for the FIRST TIME Barbara will be voting tomorrow but she told me she was voting for Kerry for no other reason than a co-worker asked her to. I then reminded her that Osama Bin Laden wanted Florida (where I live) to vote for Kerry because he threatened states that voted for Bush in his tape released last week. I begged Barbara NOT to give that terrorist the satisfaction of a Kerry victory. That was enough for Barbara. The GOOD NEWS is that she promised me that she will be voting for BUSH tomorrow. (I will still call her tomorrow to make sure she is voting).

Next I called Sophia. It turns out she is a Republican but just needed a reminder to vote since politics isn't that important to her.---ANOTHER VOTE FOR BUSH!!! (I still will call her again tomorrow to make sure she votes and not procrastinate.)

There were just the first two people I called. After that I got really excited and called other folks on my cell phone caller list with really great results. Best of all, most of the folks on my cellphone list live here in Florida, an important battleground state.

I therefore strongly URGE all of you to do the same. Not only will it help relieve your election jitters because you are doing something useful but I really think this could really help Bush tomorrow. Even if you know committed people who will definitely vote for Bush tomorrow, call them as well so they can do the same as you (and me) by calling the names of people on their cellphone call list.

Remember, this is probably the MOST IMPORTANT election of our lifetime. The future of our nation is at stake. The volunteer Minutemen put their actual lives on the line. The biggest risk you will be facing is a slight sprain of your dialing finger. Don't sit around and just wait for the election results. PLEASE make a positive impact on the election results by calling your friends on your cellphone call list.

Just in case he forgets, I'm sure the man is swamped, I'd call another state to try to get another list as well.

Hey! I got an idea! Why doesn't every freeper who reads this get a list for themselves from a battleground state, and then get one of their friends to get one too if they can, freeper friend or otherwise. That could make a HUGE difference. We could easily reach 100,000 people that way.

New Mexico Republican Party:(505) 298-3662

Ohio Republican Party: (614) 228-2481

Wisconsion Republican Party: (608) 257-4765

Florida Republcan Party: (850) 222-7920

Iowa Republican Party: (515) 282-8105

Pennsylvania Republican Party: (717) 234-4901

New Hampshire Republican Party: (603) 225-9341

ONE of these should be able to hook you up with some phone calls.

Another thing that might help. Anyone with a Bush bumper sticker who has the time should go to their local health food store or coop, and just hang out. Spend a lot of time shopping and browsing. I think it might stop some of the regular denizens of the largely left-wing health food establishments to see a lot of Bush support in their "stronghold." Just might make a difference.

Broward County, huh? When I first signed up on FR my screen name was "Carol Roberts" (Palm Beach County) I just couldn't resist poking fun at that, um, person.

Now get back to making phone calls. ;-)

Call Josh at (850) 445-5460. He can fax you lists. If that wouldn't work out for some reasons, here are some numbers you might want to try:

New Mexico Republican Party:(505) 298-3662

Ohio Republican Party: (614) 228-2481

Wisconsion Republican Party: (608) 257-4765

Florida Republcan Party: (850) 222-7920

Iowa Republican Party: (515) 282-8105

Pennsylvania Republican Party: (717) 234-4901

New Hampshire Republican Party: (603) 225-9341

Thanx for the list. Will call in a moment. And for those of you who are hesitant (or shy) about making the phone calls, I give you two words that will serve as a great motivator to get out the vote via cellphone: PRESIDENT KERRY.

Sorry. NOT a good idea. We are DOWN TO THE WIRE. We need to MOTIVATE people already wanting to vote for Bush to actually go OUT and vote. Much more effective than hanging out at a health food pad in terms of votes. Remember, at this point it is a NUMBERS game.

The Florida Headquarters in Tallahassee? I just got home from there. The place is packed and the phone banks are humming.

All the office staff is preparing for an airport rally to welcome Jeb back to town.

The best idea is to use the phones to just get out the vote. EVERY Battleground state, INCLUDING Pennsylvania can go Bush IF ONLY we make the effort via the phones. Anyway, I'm sure glad I got a new cellphone battery last week. Right now I am just waiting for the fax with the Florida numbers to call. Remember, you can still watch the election news tomorrow AND call people at the same time.

All I got was a recorded message when I called. Anyway, I hope to get a FAX from Josh with phone #s to call. Since I have unlimited 24/7 free long distance on my cellphone, it doesn't cost me anything to call.

The cute little intern at my office asked for my help in filling out her absentee ballot. I managed to do so in spite of her bosom. I deserve a gold star.
