Woman Takes 5 People Hostage at N.C. Plant

CLAYTON, N.C. - A woman apparently upset about the firing of a friend took at least five people hostage at a Caterpillar heavy-equipment plant Tuesday, the sheriff said.
The woman, who was in the plant's lobby, appeared to have a shotgun with her and also claimed to have explosives, Sheriff Steve Bizzell said.
"Apparently, she is an acquaintance or friend of an employee terminated recently, and she's demanding answers," Bizzell said. "She's irate about the treatment that her friend got."

Ah, the news continues, even on Election day. More wacky stuff going on out there, and we won't hear about any of it, since the MSM is going to blather on about the election, even when they have no news.
