OK, remember: swallow the scotch, inhale the cigar. Not the other way around this time, please?

yeah, it really burns when you try to exhale the scotch through your nostrils.

Kerry is quoted in a Ron Fournier article as getting teary and crying as he tells his staff "we showed them a vote for change."

I am sorry, but that is not a sound of confidence from the Kerry campaign.

The good news: a sufficient number of women voters are neither vile enough nor stupid enough to vote for the vile K-flopper.

FWIW, I watched an interview of Vanessa Kerry with the sound off. She doesn't look like she has any insider info that her father's been elected president. She looks kind of resigned and philosophical.

Nobody else looks very chipper either. Andrea Mitchell, James Carville, Paul Begala, Joe Trippi...This gives me some scant hope.

After the MSM's Florida shinanigans last year, I'm not too concerned about early data (At least wait until working Americans get off so that they can vote).

I hope you are right. I guess the last hope to hang onto is that this is just another dirty trick by the MSM. They have been historically shameless in their bias and attempt to influence the election. Maybe this is their forged documents on Bush's service or the claim of failure to get weapons. By the way, at the end of Bin Laden's tape, did Kerry come on and say "This is John Kerry and I approved this message"

I believe, with all of the tactics that the dems use, used this as a stepping stone in order to appear as if they were moving ahead to gain momentum before the election tonight. I wouldn't put it past them.

To summarize:

If you believe the GOP insider posted at NRO:

we're winning men: 53-45
we're ahead with catholics in WI & PA
we get hispanics 40% (to 35% in 2000)
somewhere I was reading the early Dem rush is receding (maybe due to bad weather)
people say the GOP turnout around the country is higher than normal

So things looking more promising after all.

"The bogus exit poll is turning out to be the October Surprise."

You are an excellent detective! This is precisely the case.

The Kerry goons are out on all the "news" shows and sending emails to Drudge and other "news" sources. Don't pay any attention to them. They LIE! Republicans would be held accountable if they lied to some "news" organization but it will never happen to a loony DEM. So, they can LIE till their brains fall out (not hard).

Election will decide course of war on terror

By Ron Fournier
Associated Press

President George W. Bush and challenger John Kerry fought to the wire in their long, bitter race for the White House on Tuesday as Americans turned out in droves to choose between their embattled wartime president and a Democrat who vigorously questioned the invasion of Iraq.
“I’ve given it my all,” the Republican said after voting at a Crawford, Texas, firehouse.

Kerry, a four-term Massachusetts senator, got teary-eyed as he thanked his staff for a campaign’s worth of work. “We made the case for change,” he said before voting at the Massachusetts Statehouse.

Sounds like the MSM is still shilling for skerry. This so-called National Election Pool and their exit polls are driving me nuts. This Nat'l Election Pool consists of: ABC, AP, CBS, CNN, Fox, and NBC. I refuse to swallow what THEY are saying is going on at the polls. I'll wait until the votes actually start getting counted... (just my 2 cents)

Blame Drudge. He posted without any context.

Kind of reminds me of Rita Cosby reporting the SCOTUS verdict on election 2000.
