The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

Dems Register al-Qaida Terrorists in Ohio Vote Drive
The general problem that continues is that Americans generally do not understand or take seriously the problem of Islamic terrorism. From NewsMax.com, with thanks to Jeffrey Imm:

In a bid to get out the vote for John Kerry, Democrat activist groups in Ohio have registered at least two known terrorists involved in a plot to blow up a shopping center.
Nuradin Abdi, a Somali immigrant and admitted al-Qaida member who was indicted earlier this year as part of a conspiracy to blow up the Columbus Mall, was registered to vote by the left-wing group ACORN, according to the Columbus Dispatch and the Ohio News Now TV Network.

ACORN has spearheaded an aggressive Democrat vote drive in the battleground states.

Iyman Faris, another new Ohio voter added to the rolls by Democrats, is serving a 20-year jail sentence for his role in surveilling potential al-Qaida targets, including the Brooklyn Bridge, the Dispatch said....

"As far as board of elections is concerned, Abdi is a registered voter," Ohio board of elections director Matt Damschroeder told ONN.

Only after Abdi's case was exposed did Ohio officials strike his name from the voting rolls, because of his status as an illegal alien.

Faris became a naturalized citizen in 1999 but is not eligible to vote because he's an incarcerated felon.

WOW! The 1-Year Anniversary. How time flies. I'd like to personally thank every TMer for their contributions to this important thread. Nowhere else is this type of information available. Nowhere else can I have a serious discussion about terrorism. Being able to discuss these threats not only keeps me aware of them, but also helps to keep me calm and rational for the simple reason that I can talk to intelligent folks about it. For that, I am in you dept to you all.

Well, GWB won and I am so relieved! That sends a clear message to OBL and his ilk that America will not be intimidated – by anyone, ever. We're all safer for it. Our prayers have been answered.

Now, back to the business of fighting terrorism. We know that the states that voted for Bush have been directly threatened by the latest OBL tape. Folks in those states need to stay on a higher alert than the blue states. Would it be worth posting a list of the red states v. the blue?

Since I’m in a red state I’ve been taking extra precautions with my company’s data. Ounce of prevention you know. Personally, I’ll continue to stay at a extra high level of alert until after the inauguration.

We've passed our one year anniversary, but still need to keep going until they are all dead or captured.
