When Bush was on the campaign trail, he had a couple of great songs that I have since downloaded. I am looking for some other songs that would get my heart thumping.
Can you suggest some songs? (I am rather new to country music.) Please help. Thanks!
This is what I have so far:
"Where the Stars & Stripes and the Eagles Fly" by Aaron Tippin (from Bush Campaign Trail)
"Only in America" by Brooks and Dunn (from Bush Campaign Trail)
"Live What I Believe" by Russ Lee & President Bush
"Courtesy of the Red, White, & Blue" by Toby Keith
"American Soldier" by Toby Keith
"God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood
Sean Hannity's Theme Song, "Independence Day", by Martina McBride would be a good addition, too.
Toby Keith played at the last Bush rally in Dallas and also donated to his campaign -- it was in the paper here in OK today.
Written as a one-off for her IRAQ tour, and was such a big hit that she cut it.
Also, go Here to research for more songs.
"When the Man Comes Around" (see the bommer video) should be W-2 's new theme song.
One of my favorites is back in the 2000 campaign....just before Bush was coming out to speak (this may have been a PA rally) and they played Fleetwood Mac "Don't Stop (thinkin about tomorrow)" and then you hear a needle scratching across a record. Then another song is thrown on in the middle of the track..."Won't Get Fooled Again" (The Who) jams as Bush takes the stage. I am hoping that some kind soul caught that and will post it someday!
Montgomery Gentry CD You Do Your Thing
Has 2 great songs on this CD. 1)You Do Your Thing and 2)Gone.
You Do Your Thing could be the conservative motto song. It says things like:
*I'll pray anytime, anyplace
*I'm not gonna trade my family's safety to save on a little gas
*If Uncle Sam calls, I pick up the phone.
*I don't want a piece of nobody else's pie
Great song.
Yes, absolutely. That was what I was going to suggest.
