Actually I'm the one that's blessed. My short time in the U.S. Army was a defining moment of my life. My experiences there gave me CLARITY and perspectives that I wouldn't have had any other way.
I'm doubly blessed to now have the Internet and Freerepublic.com to share my views on, based on the what GOD brought me to and then thru long, long ago.
GOD is GOOD

What happebned to the US military as a result of the Vietnam War was sickening
I cut my College Alma Mater off from all contributions stating so in a nasty letter to them when the booted the ROTC off campus back in 69
All that happened was bad enough but the thoughts of that slime bag Kerry getting elected put a feeling in my gut like a lead weight .
For a country to put a lying traitor like that as CIC would have been the final straw
What a relief Wednesday was
However I am still depressed that 48% of the American voters were willing to place this scum as CIC
The story of his lies and treachery still has to continue
If I was a GI in the current military I don't know if I could have kept on doing my duty if he was elected
I don't know who I HATE ( and I meant HATE ) more Kerry and his democrat henchmen or the MSM who covered and still cover up for him

Thanks so much Ronnie! I e-mailed your link to my boss; a vet who did his time in Nam in the early 70's. He reitred a Lt Col. and had the pleasure of serving under Moore for a brief time.

Thank you for your service. "We Were Soldiers" has to be the best Vietnam War movie ever made. TNT must be making a killing with the ratings by showing this. They've ran it probably a dozen times in the last couple of weeks. That's fine by me. The more people exposed to what happened over there, the better.

With all the articles that have been out for MONTHS on voter fraud, why are you so sure Kerry got 48% of anything?
Do me a favor, take a look at the voter maps that shows county by county of the blue states, then look at the blue states. As an example, NJ walked away as being a 'blue' state. I still don't believe it. Looking at the county by county percentages contradicts it.
THEN after seeing the counties that went blue, a little more research will show a history of voter fraud.
So then, I ask again, what makes you think Kerry got 48% of anything?

OK Slice and dice it any way you want to BUT ain't that much vote fraud
So the fact remains that GIs are dying in Iraq for a nation where 46% of the voters think Bush went to war on a whim for oil etc etc etc and were willing to put a sleazy lying pathetic loser like Kerry in commmand , PERIOD and that is a very depressing thought
