Actually I'm the one that's blessed. My short time in the U.S. Army was a defining moment of my life. My experiences there gave me CLARITY and perspectives that I wouldn't have had any other way.
I'm doubly blessed to now have the Internet and Freerepublic.com to share my views on, based on the what GOD brought me to and then thru long, long ago.
GOD is GOOD
.
Have a wonderful
Veterans Day!
.
Thank you, reformjoy, as always.

What happebned to the US military as a result of the Vietnam War was sickening
I cut my College Alma Mater off from all contributions stating so in a nasty letter to them when the booted the ROTC off campus back in 69
All that happened was bad enough but the thoughts of that slime bag Kerry getting elected put a feeling in my gut like a lead weight .
For a country to put a lying traitor like that as CIC would have been the final straw
What a relief Wednesday was
However I am still depressed that 48% of the American voters were willing to place this scum as CIC
The story of his lies and treachery still has to continue
If I was a GI in the current military I don't know if I could have kept on doing my duty if he was elected
I don't know who I HATE ( and I meant HATE ) more Kerry and his democrat henchmen or the MSM who covered and still cover up for him
.
Right on, uncbob, Right on.
.
Did I see correctly that an American soldier threw a grenade at his OWN SIDE???

Thank you for your service. "We Were Soldiers" has to be the best Vietnam War movie ever made. TNT must be making a killing with the ratings by showing this. They've ran it probably a dozen times in the last couple of weeks. That's fine by me. The more people exposed to what happened over there, the better.

There wasn't a Single Communist North Vietnamese Army Soldier inside a then Free South Vietnam

Great Movie, But I HIGHLY recommend everyone read the book if you want to know what and who REAL HEROES ARE! This battle should be one of the battles in our history that EVERY American knows! Thanks again Ronnie.
