Jimmy Strikes Again

MIAMI (AFP) - Former US President Jimmy Carter called Yasser Arafat (news - web sites) "a powerful human symbol and forceful advocate" who united Palestinians in their pursuit of a homeland.

"Yasser Arafat's death marks the end of an era and will no doubt be painfully felt by Palestinians throughout the Middle East and elsewhere in the world," Carter said.

"He was the father of the modern Palestinian nationalist movement. A powerful human symbol and forceful advocate, Palestinians united behind him in their pursuit of a homeland," he said in a statement distributed by his Atlanta, Georgia-based Carter Center.

He said that while Arafat provided "indispensable leadership to a revolutionary movement" and played a key role in forging a peace agreement with Israel in 1993, he was excluded from negotiations in recent years.

"My hope is that an emerging Palestinian leadership can benefit from Arafat's experiences, be welcomed to the peace process by (Israeli) Prime Minister (Ariel) Sharon and (US) President (George W.) Bush, and be successful in helping to forge a Palestinian state living in harmony with their Israeli neighbors," Carter said.

Both Carter and Arafat are Nobel peace prize laureates.

Arafat, who died at a Paris hospital early Thursday, was to be buried at his West Bank headquarters after a military funeral ceremony in Cairo Friday.

Carter "will not be attending the funeral," said Jon Moor, a Carter Center spokesman.

I was just listening to Rush and he said;

"THERE IS A REASON ARAFAT FLEW OFF TO PARIS. UNDER FRENCH LAW THERE DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A CAUSE OF DEATH RECORDED."

I think we can say AIDS!

All the typical morons are out today exposing their own naivete and stupidity.

I can't wait to read the stupid comments from Carter after the Caribbean Butcher, Castro from Cuba, dies... Castro provided "indispensable leadership to a revolutionary movement" and was excluded from unfettered trade with the US in recent years.

Carter forgot about the billions of dollars stolen from the people by Arafat to pay off terrorists, cronies, and a trophy wife. If that's "indispensable leadership to a revolutionary movement," then the Enron executives were more "revolutionary" than Che Guevara and Vladimir Illich Lenin.

Carter is a disgrace to the office who manages to keep digging himself deeper and deeper into his own personal cesspool of flawed logic and twisted values.

Shame on Former President Jimmy Carter
How can Jimmy Carter praise Rahman Abdul Rauf al-Qudwa al-Husseini, a.k.a. Yasser Arafat, the nephew and protégé of Hitler’s pal, the infamous Grand Mufti? Uncle Haj, the Grand Mufti, was a featured guest on Radio Berlin, visited with Himmler and Hitler, organized Muslim Waffen SS units in Bosnia and mentored key players in the pan-Arab Nationalist movement that evolved into the terror mongers of today. Arafat learned his hatred for Jews at the knee of an original architect of the Final Solution. He has spent his life pursuing that twisted dream.

Why does Mr. Carter close his eyes to the thousands of innocents murdered by the terrorist activities of Arafat's minions in the PLO, Fatah, PFLP, Al-Aqsa Martyr's Brigade, and HAMAS. Doesn't Arafat's consistent praise for his uncle's affiliation with history's most notorious mass murderer of Jews correlate closely enough with his parenting of anti-Semitic terrorism? The list of massacres at terminals and resorts, airline hijackings, hostage takings, indiscriminate bombings and bloody mayhem of every sort is very long. I guess Jimmy Carter's memory is just short. Or, perhaps, he apologizes for this murdering villain in a quest to secure his "legacy" by propping up the ignominious "Camp David" version of "Peace in our time".

If being a Nazi sympathizer and terrorist murderer are not enough to dissuade Jimmy Carter's eulogy, maybe he might reflect on the way this Egyptian thief has ridden the hapless "Palestinian" Arab cause all the way to his Swiss bank account. Arafat, a native of Cairo, made sure to direct a vast fortune his own way, to the neglect of his "people" the Palestinians. The vultures at his deathbed a testament to his nest egg.

The death of a vile despot, thief, and killer, with sycophantic toadies Carter and Chirac crying crocodile tears, makes for a truly gothic tableau. It's an historical snapshot unworthy of an American president. Shame on Jimmy Carter!

What our deluded pals at the other site are saying:

1. I'm proud of Jimmy Carter.
Knows how to phrase things. Diplomacy. Oh, yeah, I haven't seen much of that lately.

Or try this:

4. No kidding
The man emanates wisdom.
He WARNED us about the election debacle.....he WARNED us.
We really need to listen carefully to him whenever he speaks. He speaks the truth.

I consider Jimmy Carter the worst President America ever had. I consider him directly responsible for Osama Bin Laden and most of the terrorist problems we have today because he contributed to their growth--and 9/11 because he didn't have the balls to do anything about Iran. He will be accountable for this some day.

Where is the Barf alert?

Given the headline, a Barf Alert would be truly redundant (unless there are people who search for "barf").

So, I put it in the Keywords just for him. ;-)

So, let's get this straight.

Arafat is finally meeting a Jew he can't terrorize!

Arafat, who died at a Paris hospital early Thursday

He died Sunday. The Palestinians and Israel needed some time to secure Gaza before the official announcement. It is an ancient tradition--the funeral of the Zanes.

The only -- ONLY -- silver lining to this is that the Democratic party is determined to flush the Jewish vote completely down the drain.

What self-respecting Jewish-American could read these love-letters to their arch-enemy and not run screaming from the Democratic party?

on his name he one time could barter...

'till he shot off his mouth...

now he's older but not any smarter.
