I am trying to find come correlation between the National Education Association and the Southern Poverty Law Center and their combined attempts to dismantle, attack or demean the Boy Scouts of America. I have been told by a teacher that the NEA is a big se

The ACLU has the point on the anti-Scout effort. Politically, of course, all three of these organizations are composed of "the usual suspects."

Lot of those anti-American and leftist organization are affiliated in some ways. Would not surprise me if NEA and SPLC are connected.

A couple of weeks ago I resigned my 15 year membership with the NEA and UEA. On a tip, I had run across the NEA-Gay/Lesbian Caucus newsletter on the Internet. (www.nea-glc.org/Newsletter/ layout%20dec2000%20nea.glc.pdf)
In that document, a letter is reproduced. It’s from the President of the NEA to the Chief Executive of the Boy Scouts of America and says, “The purpose of this letter is twofold: to express NEA’s strong opposition to the Boy Scouts of America’s practice of discrimination against gay youth and leaders; and to put BSA on notice that, until it halts this practice, NEA and its affiliates will work to insure that the public schools fully disassociate themselves from BSA and its message of exclusion and intolerance....”
