President Bush stepped into the middle of a confrontation and pulled his lead Secret Service agent away from Chilean security officials who barred his bodyguards from entering an elegant dinner for 21 world leaders Saturday night.

Several Chilean and American agents got into a pushing and shoving match outside the cultural center where the dinner was held. Bush noticed the fracas after posing for pictures on a red carpet with the summit host, Chilean President Ricardo Lagos and his wife and first lady Laura Bush.

Hopefully, both the SS and Chilean security are getting their butts chewed out as we speak.

"Ya think Bush brought an extra can of SS WhoopAss..."

I think President Bush carries WhoopAss with him in a large economy size for whenever it is needed in situations such as this, and after the first debate, which he approached as the gentleman he is, he had his WhoopAss at the ready for John F'n ... who?

Liberal women know better than to discus politics in front of me. Born and raised in Mass. and a lifelong conservative with a love for a fight, there is nothing they can say anymore. And if they start, they don't talk long; I have no patience anymore. This is a war and the Democrats started it. Rarr, rarr, rarr!!

Laura has an aura, a karma; she is powerful in a beautiful way, brilliant, too. Together they're the most amazing pair I've ever known.

From the pictures I saw, the USSS was blocked and being held. The only way for him to alert the President was to make the commotion. This did alert the President who came back. I do believe that this threw off the assassins. President Bush's quick response to the USSS agent most likely prevented his own assassantion

"Our President just flat out rocks."

I agree, but I hope his cajones don't get in the way of his common sense.

That's going to be my biggest fear for the next four years.

Looks like he's packing a S&W model 10, w/o a safety strap in what looks like a Border Patrol style holster. Pure 1960's stuff.

Well from here, it looks just like my wife's Colt .38 Special snub nose. Loudest damn gun I ever shot. Not very accurate past 20 feet or so. Unfortunately, it's to close to the President.

Thanks for the Ping. I live in cableless land, and our local stations didn't cover this story tonight. Hopefully Fox will have it on the Sunday a.m. show. I've always had a thing for cowboys!

They might, and they probably use what they want, but Uzis are all I've seen on an actual SS agent protecting the President (see Reagan assn. attempt photos) and I also think Uzis are easier to conceal and a little more functional.

I've fired the Uzi semi auto version and it is a great weapon. If I were on a tactical team taking down a room, I would probably go with an MP-5 however.

Wive with a strange, dreamy, robot, drugged look.....There is no way a lady gets that look from drugs, it can only come from real love. That is why the liberals don't understand it.
