Ohio Today, attorneys representing the Kerry-Edwards campaign filed papers in Delaware County, Ohio to intervene in legal proceedings in defense of Green Party presidential candidate David Cobb, Libertarian Michael Badnarik and their legal counsel, the National Voting Rights Institute, who are seeking a recount of all votes cast for president in the Ohio 2004 general election.

LOL. What took them so long? A recount is not going to change ANYTHING. If there were undiscovered ballot boxes in Cuyohoga County, they'd be found already. Heck, who the hell are they kidding? Not the voters of Ohio.

Should this REALLY be in Breaking News???
1) Link is from the Green Party, it's not News according to the usual News sources.
2) Poster NT_NJ is a 6 day newbie.

I knew this third party crap was just a front for the Democrats to hide behind and that when it didn't work they had to crawl out from under their rock. That is way their blog sites have been fueling this voter fraud issue and why the news orgs did story's on this.

Unless there is a real risk, and the Bush team would know that by now, they are best to show maturity, rise above this mess and stay clear.
The Dems have dug themselves a hole by fomenting blind hatred on the left. The loonies via DU, Obberman, and the 527's now have a megaphone in the MSM to promote their conspiracy theories. The Greens, seeing an opportunity for fundraising and a national platform, picked up the voter fraud mantra of these nuts where the Dems did not. Check out DU, they are cursing Kerry and singing praises to the Greens. The Dems are forced to now insert themselves into the recount to regain the trust of the loons. They will do so as quietly as possible so that main stream America doesn't turn on, or so they hope.

What recount? After certification tomorrow the Greens and Libertarians requested a recount and looks like they will get one. The DUmmies have been bombarding the Kerry/Edwards group with e-mails requesting they get involved in this. They were against it but I guess the pressure of the DUmmies was too much.

I am telling you the Greens did not do this to get more votes for themselves they did this do get more votes for Kerry. THE GREENS ARE WORKING FOR KERRY AND ARE HIRED BY KERRY. This makes the Dems look innocent in all this if they say the Greens are doing this. The Dems don't want to even touch this. They are getting the stupid Greens to do their dirty work for them. They American people will only see the Greens doing this and this way it won't backfire on the Dems.

Florida 2000 was at least close. If Gore had called for a statewide recount using uniform standards, I would not have objected.
I don't know why anyone gets upset about undervotes. Opinion polls consistently report people who can't make up their minds. Some of these people choose not to cast a vote for president.
Some of the overvotes in Florida 2000 were the results of democrats instructing their voters to vote on every page -- and the presidential ballot covered two pages. Life sucks. Move on.

I'm not sure textbooks are relevant in A.P. English. Money isn't a huge problem if kids are motivated.
My daughter took A.P. Biology in a classroom/lab with only one sink. Everyone in the class got fours and fives on the A.P. test.
The teacher said she couldn't get more money because the kids always did so well, and it obviously wasn't needed. Success is thusly rewarded in schools.

I told last time that there will not be a recount in Ohio and I listed the reasons for my argument.
You are way over rating the power of the DUmmies.
To: jveritas
You are way over rating the power of the DUmmies. Not exactly. This started out as just a rant on their part and now they finally have the Kerry/Edwards lawyers involved. This has been going on since Nov. 3rd and they have pushed and pushed until they got what they wanted. I never underestimate the enemy NEVER!
