One is Ben Stein, the author of this article. The other is Mark Steyn, who is Canadian, I think.
By the way what is up with Steyn? His website is on hiatus - I hope all is ok with him and his family.

Trancas, Malibu, Zuma Beach were once home. It was crazed back then too, but not so ferociously. Maybe it was a mistake for so many of the denizens to get clean and sober. They were mellower when stoned. And they didn't vote then either.

We are here Ben...I personally make it my mission to give Hollyweird indigestion and unabashedly I might add...Ran into a guy brave enough to wear a U.S.S Reagan hat, at the West-Hollywood Trader Joe's. I approached him and his girlfriend, while they were checking out, and asked him if he wore the hat in homage or as a vet, he apprehensively said "the latter."...Not knowing if I was friend or foe, I quickly reassured him, friend. He was pleased and I told him they also have a U.S.S George H. Bush hat and that he could find it at NewsMax, at which he said, "oh no, you can't wear that around here." I replied, "yes you can, I got your back."

Yeah, it's not "cool" to be a conservative out here in LA LA land. But myself? I wouldn't and couldn't have it any other way.
Some of you who have never been out here wouldn't believe how bad and selfish some of the people here are.
They know absolutely nothing of our ways, our truth, and our political ideology, yet they think they are 100% right, and that they know it all.
