All of this on-going Christophobia is driving me nuts! Anyone I talk to is angered by it too. The water meter reader guy came in yesterday to do his job, as he was leaving he said, "Have a Happy Holiday," over his shoulder to me. I stopped him and told him to have a Merry Christmas! He gave me a meaningful, "Thank you."

I know we're not the type to launch 'protests' etc., but man I would love to see every church go to the public square in their city on Christmas Day and sing Holy Christmas Songs and then God Bless America.

And maybe somebody here could explain to me that if the government sets up a Public Square which they own (actually we the people own), and a Public sidewalk (which most of us can do most anything on) what's the difference?

This is not "free" schooling we are paying far too dearly for this so called benefit and getting a really bad return on our money.

These people who have declared war on Christians may get more than they bargain for, the current count in America is 90% believe in God and 80% believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. Why pick fights with an 800 lb. gorilla? Not smart, not smart at all.

You might also remind her that "Holiday" derives from "HOLY DAY".

Attention Plano Christian parents!

HOMESCHOOL YOUR KIDS!

Yes, Mom, this means you will have to give up your job and be at home...you'll adjust. Dad, you'll have to work harder and maybe take an extra job stocking nights at WalMart.

DON'T JUST COMPLAIN ABOUT PUBLIC SCHOOLS...ABANDON THEM!

The city of Plano is full of liberal loons. Always has been. I don't go near there.

Collin County, which includes Plano, voted sixty something percent for Bush, as I recall. Loons? Appears we have our fair share in Plano. The whacko who chopped off her daughter's arms a few weeks ago is being represented by none other than the ex school board president, Howard Shapiro. (His wife Florence is a Republican state senator.)

PISD had better rethink policies before they launch yet another school bond proposal.

Are they going to change all of the stop lights at intersections, too?

Are you nuts? Colin county and Plano especially vote Republican almost exclusively. I own a business in Plano and live there to and it is very conservative.

Christians shouldn't abandon anything. Christians overcome and rule in the midst of their enemies. Daniel and Joseph lived right in the middle of heathen authorities who even forced the worship of their gods by law. The three Hebrew children were thrown in the fire but were saved by faith. Daniel and Joseph ruled and had authority over kingdoms. They did not run because it got tough.

Jesus is the Lord of host, Lord of the warfare. All authority was given to him and Heaven and Earth and the gates of hell will not prevail against his church.

Of course we must be able to rule our households and personal life through faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ before we can rule our city, or even our block.

So we should act like Christ-iphobics do:

I am NOT of the ancient Roman religion, therefore I refuse to call next month January, named after Janus. In fact, Christians should demand that they change all names of all the months. To what? hmmm First month, Second month,....

And I don't worship the sun or the moon either. We must change the names of the days of the week from SUNday, MOONday and those other guys like Thor's day, Saturn Day,... Until we come up with something acceptable, it will be Firstday, Seconday, .....

Well, parents in the Oklahoma school district that banned a creche after having one for so many years just turned down a bond issue the day after in response.

Don't you folks realize that the best way to change our culture is to run for public office yourself? The school rules are created by the school board, which also hires & fires teachers and administrators. That's why I will be on the ballot here in May.

You said: The Dems are really stupid. They just keep living up to their stereotypes. I hope Rove properly capitalizes on gay marriage and secularizing of Christmas

I think you have hit the nail on the head. The Dems are horrified and enraged that they lost the election. They are hitting back in very nasty ways. By insulting, banning and discriminating against Christians and the season of Christmas.

Those who love God, honor Him, celebrate Christmas in the true meaning of the word are all targets. Sometimes when I read the headlines about banning this or that during Christmas I think I am reading about what is going on in a Communist country.

I suggest all Freepers continue to be vigilant and fight this disgraceful behavior on the part of liberals.

I will not give up my faith for ANYONE! I will not suppress it. I will proclaim it. Love of God has been in my soul since I can remember. As a child I remember a love for God and how powerful it was and is.

What is in our hearts and souls cannot and will not be eradicated.

How strange....I live in Montgomery county one of the bluest counties in this blue state of Maryland. My daughter is now enrolled in our local public school. Their Holiday celebration and concert, included Christmas carols, secular songs as well as some jewish songs celebrating Channukah. They sell candy cane-grams within the school, that can be sent to teachers and students as a fundraiser. The teachers including jewish and hindu performed a Christmas song for the concert donning Santa hats.

Obviously they haven't gotten the memo...or some states have just gone whacky.

My sister lived in Plano. Loons I tell you. Perhaps not most of the people on the street. But scratch the surface and you find loons!

But they are winning.
One reason is because the 800lb gorilla respects the rulings of the legal system.
When that goes, as is happening with me, they will have won again because there will be chaos.
