The jist of Cokies Roberts position "IS"..:
Democrats should feel and do, exactly like they already do, except by stealth and subterfuge.. not out in the open like Micheal Moore does even though he trys not to.
"Hes just stoopid and ugly and fat too..."

I hear ya, Cokie... but the same can be about you except your not AS fat..

I love the sounds and sights of liberals going after each other in the morning.

LOL.

Speaking of loving something in the morning:

G.W on Nov3rd around 10:00a.m. '' "I love the sound of MANDATE in the morning."

"Its not how Moore looks but what he says that scares me."

Exactly! I'm big and ugly, but I love the United States and served in the military to defend her (and I take a shower more than once a year--LOL). It's not his appearance so much as his wrongheadedness and sedition!

Cokie is beginning to wake up. I hope she doesn't wake up any other dims.

Michael Moore becoming a mainstream spokesman for Democratic issues is a dream come true. He's got just enough hardcore believers, maybe 15% of the population, that rallies to his every word. Those numbers, and espeically that enthusiasm, are very enticing to the Democrats.

The problem is, it's a drug rush, an artificial high that numbs them to the real situation. It may rally the hell out of the hardcore left, but it makes the center feel wierded out. You simply *can't* expect most Americans to rally round fanatics of any stripe. I'm sure that plenty of centerists with lefty friends talked one way and voted another, precisely because deep down they're not comfortable with having screaming zealots calling the shots.

They keep looking for scapegoats rather than walking up to the fact that Kerry and the DNC were absolutely on message and the American people saw the message clearly AND REJECTED IT.

Absolutely. To accept the truth, they would have to accept the fact that their entire philosophy, in many cases their entire life's work, is for naught. This would be akin to dying in a dream.

re: Cokie Roberts with the vacant stare? That Cokie Roberts?

Truth to be known, young, fat people probably don't like old skinny people. So what's her point?

That the party she is in bed with, that she aided and abetted all these years, the party that nominated that tratorous imbicile, Kerry, and let it all hang out for all Americans to see, now needs a scape goat?

The bed she sleeps in with Soros, moveon.com, Kennedy, Hillary, Schumer, etal, is not now to her liking?

"Kookey" needs to get a life. No one is listening to her anymore.

****

Needed to be repeated. Best post of the thread..... except for # 34. LOL!

"Wasn't Lieberman still in the race at that point?"

Yes...

But who knows why my friend's son (or his political associates) would pick on Lieberman amongst all other candidates?

Maybe he was most effective in his ridicule :-D

"Isn't it sweet to know Moore is now working to elect Hitlery Rodham-Stalin in 08?"

A collaboration made in...what is that place called?
And it rhymes with "smell."

"If I was a Dem Lieberman would have been the only one in the race to get my vote."

THAT was my opinion as well, as was the opinion that he was the most viable Dem candidate.

My friend's son didn't see iot that way...In his delusion Dean was the best candidate -- THIS from a kid who worked for a NJ GOP congressman, and of whom is a brilliant and gifted student.

But then again, his family has taken in a French Exchange student for a few weeks every year for the past 7 years, which might explain a few things.

Former "This Week" host and National Public Radio veteran Cokie Roberts blamed conspiracy filmmaker Michael Moore on Sunday for causing Sen. John Kerry to lose the presidential election ..... Blah! Blah! Blah!

Man, they just DON'T get it, do they? They can't see that they lost because of THEMSELVES. They keep trying to find someone ELSE to blame their failures on.

I saw Martin Frost on FOX News this morning. He said that they lost because Democrats didn't get their message out. Wrong, Frostie! Americans saw the DemoKrauts for what they ARE (Liberal and misguided, having NOTHING in common with average voters), didn't like what they saw, and they BOOTED guys like you OUT OF OFFICE!!

Well, it suits me just fine, though. Look for another round of 'RAT losses and GOP victories in 2006 and 2008.

Wonder how long it will be before he wakes up to find a horse's head in his bed.

LOL. 'The Lady in Pink' will threaten his *ss. Moore will be out of the country faster than Elizabeth Ward Gracen when she holed up in Europe -- "My family and friends are being harassed and intimidated every day. .."
