NEW YORK, Dec. 23, 2004 A California woman reveals to ABC News that she unknowingly married a Muslim extremist who helped set up what authorities say was one of the first al Qaeda sleeper cells out of their Orange County apartment complex.
Saraah Olson says she watched as her then-husband, Hisham Diab, and his group transformed local teen Adam Gadahn into an America-hating fanatic who she says is the masked man who promised in an al Qaeda video message released in Pakistan late October that the "streets of America will run red with blood."
Olson said she repeatedly tried to notify the FBI of her husband's suspicious activities, but that she was never taken seriously. "I'm in hell," Olson remembers thinking after she recognized Abdel-Rahman in connection with the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. "I have entered the bowels of hell and I'm going to be here forever. And I've only been married seven months. I've got a terrorist in my house."
The FBI said in a statement that counterterrorism is their top priority. "Whenever we receive credible information pertaining to terrorist threats against the United States, the FBI acts immediately to thoroughly pursue all such leads," the statement read.

No wonder of why Saraah Olson went to ABC "news" with this??
Whether she was clueless when she married him, is unimportant. She tried to do the right thing once she had a clue,-that is all that matters.
Probably as close as the nearest neighborhood Masjid.
OK, a terrorist cell in Orange County, a nuke plant in San Diego and an open border
Anyone thing this MIGHT be a problem???
I think they have done things we will never hear of, perhaps stopped some terrorist attacks since 911?
My sister married an Iranian once who she later divorced.
They come off as charming, than once they are married to the women, they want to control their life, who they talk to and where they go.
It was like being in a prison.
I think with this lady, she fell in love with the false front this Iraqi gave, and after marriage saw the Spirit of Satan in him as he revealed himself and dropped the charm.
It does happen.
This is just coming out now? I am amazed at the stupidity of some people. And to put her son through that. Wife beaters and the like should have their balls cut off but the mothers need to pay a penalty for letting their children be hurt as well.
In their burkas they don't look too bad. But once you see those big brown eyes without the mask to hide the rest of the face.................Burkas make good sense.
ER........She thought Peter Jennings looked Arabic?
"Anyone think this MIGHT be a problem???
Nah.......just the SOS.
"What about the Muslim terrorist who became engaged to the young Irish woman who was stopped by airport screening because she had a bomb in her bag? Turned out that the Muslim extremist hid the bomb in a secret bottom compartment of his fiancee's luggage, then sent her off to board an airliner alone. Nice, huh?"
And she was carrying something else, too.
His baby.
The FBI has always been a forensics oriented group (after the fact), not a pre-emptive domestic intelligence service (before the act).
Not surprising.
"Your woman is your dirt. Cultivate her." --The "holy" Koran.
He was cultivating her as an unwitting terrorist.
Have you forgotten Miss Afghanistan? Some pics at this link: http://www.mabuhaybeauties.com/vida/vidaz.htm (they wouldn't allow copying of the pictures).
Yeah, they're complete dogs /sarcasm
I had forgotten, thanks for the reminder. Yowser! Wrapping that lady in a burcka would be a crime against sanity.
I have not the least doubt though, that this swan was considered an ugly ducklin by the burka clad, wed foot waddlers among whom she grew to maturity.
Before you refer an old man to a set of pictures like that again, you should prepare him with a word of caution. I'm going to survive, but I have no idea when the palpitations will stop.
It is not just western women. There are legal immigrants in this country who are from other areas of the world who also wed fanatics, and enable their spouses to get legal (sometimes) access here. The problem is very complex, and things are not getting simpler.
