Our condolences for his loved ones. This is an awful thing to happen, and especially at this time of the year.

May the Lord comfort them and keep them close to Him.

The Coach of my team is the Great Physician and I trust him completely.

He need not have said more...Lord and Father, we give to you a man who had a heart of faith. Take good care of your soldier, as we know you will.

Maranatha.

Merry Christmas to all...a Child borne, a salvation promised.

MilitiaMan7: The light and salvation of the Great Artificer of the universe embrace you Brother.

Ecclesiastes 12:1-7
1Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth,
Before the difficult days come,
And the years draw near when you say,
"I have no pleasure in them":
2While the sun and the light,
The moon and the stars,
Are not darkened,
And the clouds do not return after the rain;
3In the day when the keepers of the house tremble,
And the strong men bow down;
When the grinders cease because they are few,
And those that look through the windows grow dim;
4When the doors are shut in the streets,
And the sound of grinding is low;
When one rises up at the sound of a bird,
And all the daughters of music are brought low.
5Also they are afraid of height,
And of terrors in the way;
When the almond tree blossoms,
The grasshopper is a burden,
And desire fails.
For man goes to his eternal home,
And the mourners go about the streets.
6Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed,
Or the golden bowl is broken,
Or the pitcher shattered at the fountain,
Or the wheel broken at the well.
7Then the dust will return to the earth as it was,
And the spirit will return to God who gave it.

Prayers for him and his family. I don't think I was on many threads that he was on, but I did see his postings about his cancer, etc., and I have prayed for him before. Now he's home.

I looked for the obit today. He was a tireless worker for a better America and the finest Christian gentleman. He is celebrating with the Savior tonight.

Well, Militiaman7 will be serving at his final duty station with that Great Physician.
But he'll have to get used to the streets being guarded by United States Marines!

"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom...And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish Thou the work of our hands for us--yea, the work of our hands, establish Thou it. Peace be unto his family this time of year.
