-- If this is just for the one country and they still haven't searched it all the way , the body count is going to be way over 100,000 dead just from the event. Not counting diseases. God Bless these poor people.

Quake, roaring sea ... now pestilences: Epidemics could kill as many as tsunami

I found this link at Wikipedia, under Tsunami. It's to a blog called Cheese and Crackers, which has a compilation of tsunami videos. I had seen a couple of these but most were new to me. In most cases, the people watching the waves come toward the beach had no idea, understandably, what was about to happen. These really give you an idea of what it would be like looking at the ocean and seeing what looks to be an unusual, but not especially threatening, wave coming toward you. Those listed under New , especially the 783 KB from Penang, Malaysia, and the 7.6 MB from Sri Lanka, are the most impressive.
