Teresa Heinz Eyeing House Seat for Son
Newsmax.com ^ | 12/27/04 | unknown

Teresa Heinz may have failed in her bid to become first lady, but she's not giving up on buying her way into political power.

"The word in Pennsylvania is that Kerry and other family members are pressing her son Chris Heinz to run for a House of Representatives seat," says the Washingtonian Magazine. "Chris Heinz is attractive and photogenic, and campaign funding won’t be a problem," the mag notes.

The tart tongued billionairess who calls opponents "scumbags" also believes that leading conservative Sen. Rick Santorum is beatable in 2006.

Mrs. Heinz is expected to pour some of her ketchup cash into the coffers of any challenger who stands a chance against Santorum.

I believe his father, Mr. Heinz, was a Republican. Unlike these scumbags.

There is something Oedipal in all this...

Certainly emasculates Kerry even more.

I just hope Mom is able to make as many campaign appearances as possible. With plenty of media to record her pearls of wisdom. She was lots of fun in 2004.

He went around college campuses saying how Bush was going to bring back the draft and called Bush a 'cokehead', idiot, the usual lines from the losers. There's nothing there.

Yes he did say those things about G.W.

I knew John Heinz before and when Teraaaaaaaaayza was married to him. He was a real good man. I cannot believe this son is John Heinz' son, the kid should have better sense...... and better manners!

"The word in Pennsylvania is that Kerry and other family members are pressing her son Chris Heinz to run for a House of Representatives seat ... "

Reporter Unknown stated that when little Chris was told by Mamma Heinz that he will go to Congress, he replied ... "Aw, do I have too?

No wonder this country suffers when democrats get into office...

Yeh, but they must then get uglier once they are in office.

Maybe she'll stay off the son's campaign trail. No Grand Canyon photo ops this time.

All I can say is: Keep Momma at home. Do not allow her
to campaign for you and change your last name from Heiniz to anything else except Kerry.

id'n't that n-i-c-e? (/s)

this country rebelled against england for reasons of aristocracy and royalty.

and now on the democrat plantation what do we have? a new royalty of sorts:

hollywood, sports, music celebrities. "celebrity trumps ideology", one said.

in politics increasingly families look upon political offices as something that they pass on to their spouses or children:

the kennedys, the bushes, the clintons ... and a list of congressional and senatorial offices handed over to the wives after the husbands died in plane wrecks or skiing into trees.

with 293,000,000 people can't we do better?

John Heinz WAS a Republican and a good solid, decent guy. Take it from an old acquaintance. Btw, Teraaaayza was actually completely different around 35 year ago. Amazing what living with a Dem. like Kerry can do to you.
