The head of New York GOP blasted Hillary Clinton's ethics yesterday in the wake of the indictment of the junior senator's former finance director.
"Is anyone really surprised that another Clinton confidant has been indicted?" said Stephen Minarik.
"Hillary Clinton's public life reads like an instruction manual for breaking the rules. New Yorkers deserve better."

It isn't necessary, and sometimes counterproductive to pounce on the enemy when they are beating themselve up. Hillary is gonna look bad with or without a statement by the NY GOP. The statement by the NY GOP is not going to change the votes of rats...in fact it is going to anger them.
For example, if some one comes to me with polite critisism of my child I will listen, but if they come at me with both guns blazing I will instinctivly defend my child.
Don't give the rats an excuse to divert attention away from Hillary. Nobody was better at diverting attention than President Clinton. Fortunately it appears that Hillary thinks she is smarter than him and is not taking his advise.

I have a feeling that Hillary is going to get "bitch slapped" so many times by 2008 that no amount of reconstructive or plastic surgery will make her look politically attractive as a candidate.

What I don't understand is how can her Finance Director be nailed and not Hillary. NOBODY can tell me that Hillary doesn't keep her finger on the pulse of every cent in her campaign coffers. She had to know what was going on. WHY isn't SHE being investigated? I hope this guy sings like a Canary and implicates Hillary. If nothing else it won't be good for her future plans to be dragged through a legnthy investigation. It looks like the Bush White House has taken away that glass wall that has been shielding the Clintons...finally!

Ha ha! Remember when those law firm records were found in Hillary's private quarters in the White House by her aide? What happened? Exactly. The pattern of deny, lie and obfuscate is their professional manual...
Hillary's next book title _Deny, Lie and Obfuscate_.

Actually I doubt Hillary is anal-retentive/hands on her accounting...for two reasons:
First, an impression of distance lets her blame a stooge and lets him/her take the fall, suitably compensated when they get out of prison....
Second, there is the VERY REAL Arkancide/Clinton Death Watch reputation, people who cross her might really get a look that kills...and not getting that "look" from Bill or Hillary might just be enough to keep the ArkanGambino subordinates mum, see "taking the fall" above....
Vince Foster and Ron Brown? Knew too much, maybe didn't take unspoken threats about their "health" quite seriously enough?

I think it's about time that the GOP speaks up, and do it loud and often. This is about crime, corruption, socialism, and clintons, not nearly the same league as someone who wants to criticize your kid.
The hardcore socialist leftists won't flinch, but the political middle will - IF we can make these crimes and corruption well known. If the GOP can swing a few votes by standing up like this for what is right and wrong using clear rational statements, then they should do it.

Both lied and continue to do so...the MSM is becoming their latest victim - Harold Ickes is reported to be down and McAulfee is not too far behind as his use to them is now over except for knowing where the bodies are, Terry would have been long gone....Maybe nothing sticks to the Clintons because they are a figment of the MSM & MSP, an illusion, murky at best. The wholesale of our National Security to China will eventually be their undoing
it would help if reporters would get some cojonies and tell the truth about this despotic pair.

It isn't necessary, and sometimes counterproductive to pounce on the enemy when they are beating themselve up.The Clintons have continuously defied expectations. So many times they lost their cases in court. Bill has had right to practice law revoked. Hillary would never had been elected as a senator for New York if what you are suggesting was true.
This is a beast of a different color. We need newer and much more effective strategies to take her out of office then by just letting her record speak for itself, and relying on peoples' good sense.

Yeah, but this will give the story more legs With Hillary's thighs more legs could be a dangerous thing. Honestly when the NYGOP attacks/comments on this story it doesn't give it more legs. It gives moderates an excuse to ignore the story as partisan bickering and rats a chance to paint the GOP as unfair to liberal voters. It won't matter what the charges are, the NY media will twist words and minimize for Hillary if they can use Republicans as attack dog.
The NYGOP should have said "We will let the matter be investigated by the proper authorities," and let the papers detail the facts. Now the papers can run the story as "Republicans attacked Hillary with charges of...insert charges. The story then becomes the evil Republicans out to get Hillary. The NYGOP statement is counter productive. It doesn't add any credibility to the charges with moderate or liberal voters, and we need some of those voters if we want to elect Republicans in NY.
President Clinton's reelection after 4 years of scandals should have taught people something. When Republicans are maneuvered into a position of being the messenger...we get shot.

The key to understanding Hillary's public pronouncements (and Barabra Boxer and most other democrat vermin) is to understand what a sick, evil paranoid sociopath she is. The privitive mental mechanism of projection is basic.
Voter fraud and corruption allegations against Republicans? Totally untrue. It is these DEMOCRATS who are the criminal perpetrators of fraud.

It's going to be so fun when Hillary runs for President. Can't wait for '08! If you believe that, you're naive to the Nth degree. What her run will be is DANGEROUS. Our focus should be on contributing to the demise of the MSM, because that's where this battle will be fought. If we can render the MSM impotent enough, we win. If not, Hillary will be our president.
She will figure out exactly what the country wants, she will pretend to morph into that perfect candidate, and the MSM will rally to her cause with a propaganda campaign unlike anything ever waged. It's already begun, in case you haven't noticed, with her (claimed) positions on immigration making far more sense than Dubya's.
Never ever underestimate the power of evil. This country elected her husband (and by extension, her) not once, but TWICE.

Rosen reported the Hollywood concert and dinner, cost $400,000, although he was aware that the price was well more than $1 million, the indictment states. Please explain the motive for under-reporting the cost of this event? How would Hillary's campaign benefit?

Please explain the motive for under-reporting the cost of this event? How would Hillary's campaign benefit?
Much of the event was donations/underwritten by a few people as I understand it... Thus reporting actual cost would have far exceeded FEC rules regarding campaign contributions.....

Esentially, Hillary's campaign was given gifts whcih they failed to report. All contributions are supposed to be reported - cash, gifts, freebies, etc.
Failure to report such contributions is a violation of campaign finance laws...
