"In one second, God wiped out 150,000 people," he said. "Who knows? Maybe he'll help us if we show him we are ready."
What kind of "God" do these people worship?

Read the bible much? God's index finger apparently packs quite a wallop.

The God of the Old Testament. Noah's Flood, the destruction of the Egyptians, yada, yada. Get it?

Baruch Ben-Yosef will not be part of Moshiach's Sanhedrin. With a comment like that, which implies needless death and destruction in the Holy Land, he has just counted himself out big-time. Most Jews do not seek the death of other human beings as a necessary pre-condition to the ushering in of the Messianic Age.

A divine saying if ever I heard one.

Yes I have read. I can find no such prayer acceptable.

That's the problem with democracy; those darn voters. You just never know when they're going to elect the wrong person. Especially when Muslims and Christians start to outnumber Jews.
Time for a non-elected government chosen by Jewish religious leaders.

They're a little late on this. There already is a son of David reigning as king. No need for any more.

Rabbi Yosef Dayan from Psagot, known for his recent threats to place a death curse on Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, is said to be a leading candidate to become the "king of Israel."Now there is a Rabbi that does not understand God. Israel already has a King of Curses, Sharon.

There already is plenty of needless death and destruction in the Holy Land, as well as surrounding countries.
Things are on the Heavenly Father's time and man will not alter it.

No I do not get it. Noah's Flood was for a specific purpose, no flesh being prayed for it. Even after those children were brought out of Egypt in a short span of time wanted to go back. There was nobody praying to leave Egypt, not even Moses wanted to speak.
To: PetroniusMaximus
They're talking about a Jewish version of "Sharia". The "small sanhedrin" in particular would punish violations of religious rules, sometimes by death.
It's not suprising at all that it's a bunch of Kahanists doing this.

You make it sound as if the God of the Old Testament was different than God at some other time. Explain?

The OT, when done right, was a time of Kings and so on. Democracy does not necessarily rule in the Biblical sense. Read Samuel and Kings.
Israel needs leadership like those days.. Right now.
