Were you a ML pitcher at one time? I thought you were smarter than this.

Just kinda wanted to see if anybody was for or against Whaling and killing wolves.

Yes, and a conservative POLITICAL forum in America is just the place for a Norwegian to look for answers about whales and wolves. Now if it was about rats, we might have something to discuss....

Kill Whales, but not Wolves

Well, now that we've cracked the human genome map, can't we do the same for the other mammals and engineer a new breed of marine wolf that could go out and do the job for us?

Is there an over population of whales?NO

Is there an overpopulation of wolves? IN SOME PLACES

Is your decision regarding killing whales based on you making money, or is there some other reason?

I for one am against killing anything except for food. Last I heard wolves don't taste too good.

Norway, Iceland, and Japan would all like to hunt other species, like sei, humpback, and fin whales, if their populations can eventually be shown to have recovered from past whaling.

Critics note that the industry has a poor conservation record. Many species including blue, fin, right, sperm, and humpback whales were hunted to the verge of extinction during the 19th and 20th centuries, and Norway and Japan played central roles in the destruction of Antarctica's once bountiful whale populations.

This is not news...it should have gone in the General interest/chat forum.

Also, if you have an opinion...that does not necessarily make it news...you should have found a news article about the same subject and posted this there, or saved it for when there was an article about whales or wolves.

Dude, Norway doesn't even play Wales in the first round, and you gotta get past Italy before you'll have to worry about killing Wales.
