Teddy Kennedy aside. This is what our Military thinks of their Commander in Chief.

This Marine lost his legs. Yet he still saluted the President. He had a reason to be angry. He had the reasons to hate. The libs will NEVER understand these young men. They do not know what the word HERO means.

Their "heroes" are Teddy, Michael Moore and the like. But this young man IS the real Hero of America.

The "Greatest Generation" is the young men like him. I think our fathers and grandfathers from WWII, are willing to let that description pass on to these brave "kids"

It is a picture like this that makes me KNOW America IS the greatest country, and the majority of the people believe that.

I Salute our "boys" in uniform. This young man, though he has lost, though his life will be hard. Will not lose in the end. He has a place of peace waiting for him.

May God Bless our troops.

I'm asking out of pure ignorance.

I agree. Now our focus needs to be on supporting any legislation that helps them economically or medically and donate to organizations that help our wounded warriors.

I feel kind of unworthy after seeing this photo. To think what this guy gave up for us.

Absolutely.

And go to every parade on Veterans Day and salute them.

Yes.

It is also a medal (dangling stuff you see on formal military attire).

While all medals have ribbons (able to be worn in neat rows, as in the picture), not all ribbons are medals.

Hope that makes sense.

The fact that you acknowledge this makes you worthy, IMHO. We get some military types through the airport here in Marathon and I always try to express my thanks to them with a big smile and a direct look in the eye. Regards, Avery

Kennedy, Moore, Boxer and their ilk shouldn't even be mentioned in conjunction with a thread depicting this beautiful young American hero.

This guy can represent me anytime. I could very seldom say that about my fellow citizens on the left. Hell, I'm not sure I can even characterize them in that manner accurately.

Oh, man, I really lost it seeing this photo.

God bless this young man and his family. He has "Always Faithful" stamped all over him.
