DFU SONG: Battle Cry of Freedom (Iraq vote: witness the birth of freedom)
DFU SONGS | 1-2005 | Lyrics, Doug from Upland

MIDI - BATTLE CRY OF FREEDOM - scroll down to choose the MIDI

They had risked both life and limb
May their new lives now begin
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

The historians will note
How Iraqis came to vote
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

To tyrants and despots our message is clear
We are the beacon...your turn to fear
They will now see brighter days
May God bless the USA
Bear witness to the birth of freedom
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

Tens of millions are now free
And a future they can see
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

Our fine soldiers fought with pride
Say a prayer for those who died
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

To tyrants and despots our message is clear
We are the beacon...your turn to fear
They will now see brighter days
May God bless the USA
Bear witness to the birth of freedom
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

God has given us free will
We are fighting evil still
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

Break the chains and live your life
With your children and your wife
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

To tyrants and despots our message is clear
We are the beacon...your turn to fear
They will now see brighter days
May God bless the USA
Bear witness to the birth of freedom
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

George Bush crafts a legacy
For this whole wide world to see
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

It's not conquest we desire
We've a purpose that is higher
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

To tyrants and despots our message is clear
We are the beacon...your turn to fear
They will now see brighter days
May God bless the USA
Bear witness to the birth of freedom
Bear witness to the birth of freedom

God bless our soldiers who risk their lives. God rest the souls of those who died. This greatest force for good in the history of humanity has done something truly remarkable. We have given hope to those who had no hope. We want trading partners and friends, not slaves. Robert Jensen, Noam Chomsky and other haters of America, your voice has no meaning. Freedom shall prevail. This nation is the shining light for the world.

Truer words were never spoken. That song is perfect for today.

I restrained myself and changed from this original line ---

They said it can't happen...there isn't a chance
Thank goodness no one counted on France

It is not a very good day for the RATS who inhabit the underground.

Plastic Shredder For Sale in Iraq -- Thanks to Bush, It Is No Longer Needed
DFU | 1-9-04 | Doug from Upland

Posted on 01/09/2004 10:54:35 AM PST by doug from upland

Perhaps this classified ad might be appearing soon in Arab newspapers.

FOR SALE. Industrial plastic shredder. Never used on plastic and is in showroom condition. Is very efficient in taking care of enemies, if you know what we mean. Once owned by a very famous Arab. He has moved on and no longer has any use for it, thanks to war criminal George W. Bush. $2500 or best offer.
