At the bottom of the link, there is a complete list of artists involved.

The Dixie Chicks are involved in this too? Not surprised....

Free people are entitled to fund and support any idiotic cause they want, and I'm free to barf. I think history will prove the gay marriage issue to be a loser.

Mostly has-beens. Dolly used to be great, but she's culturally totally Hollywood, now. The only one listed that I ever listened to much was Emmy Lou Harris, and I haven't bought a CD of hers since Luxury Liner. That has to be twenty or so years old.

features some 30 artists, including Yoko Ono, who sings "Every Man Has a Man."

Oh crap. More "Cats being tortured in an iron works" vocals from Yoko... shudder.

Glad I ain't gonna buy this crap.

I plan on sending a letter to the management of Dollywood, telling them that I will no longer make my annual visits to their theme park. I will send a copy of that letter to the Chamber of Commerce in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg so they all get the message.

There have been rumors for years about Dolly "playing for the other team," which I always assumed were just that.

Now I'm not so sure.

Moore, who in 2002 starred in a movie ("A walk to Remember") targeted to Christian Teens, said she is glad to be a part of the project...

Great movie, she sure played a wolf in sheep's clothing ther.

Wow... what a lineup. Look out Beatles White album! I hope Yoko does a duet with Cyndi Lauper! (/sarcasm)

John may as well have had one, that's for sure.

DP has always been family oriented. Her Dixie Stampede dinner shows and Dollywood are great Christian, family centered places. This is a shocker.

Aside from Christina Aguilera and Pink, most seem to be pretty B list.

I wonder if the gays know that Pink is a shooter? Well, the Pink Pistols know but what about the rest of them?

Who buys these charity CDs anyway?

Dolly's just tired of all us guys starring at those giant hangers...she would rather have more homo's who would help fix her hair than try and undress her....

>>>...Ono told Rolling Stone...For [politicians] to say, ‘OK, we’re going to change the Constitution so the gays can’t get married,’ I think it is outrageous....Love is love. It’s beautiful.”<<<

Where in the Constitution does it say gays (or anyone for that matter) can (or have a right) to get married???

Love IS beautiful, but this deviance is NOT love; it's lust and a really ugly, unnatural lust at that! These freaks equate love with sexual perversion. Stunning! They cannot or will not make the fine distinctions.

I'm sick of them and I'm sick that Dolly Parton would be part of this.

IMHO, Moore's beliefs maybe should have been looked into better because her movie portrayal of a Christian and this obvious hostility toward God's Word and the commands to stay away from sexually immorality (for our own good) will only serve to confuse young Christians.

I guess that answers the question on whether both Dolly PArton and Mandy Moore are conservatives.
