Ward Churchill Interview: "I want the US off the planet. Out of existence altogether."
"Satya" Magazine ^ | April 2004 | nwrep

Posted on 02/06/2005 5:07:53 PM PST by nwrep

Terrorist supporter, freedom's parasite and anti-American anarchist Ward Churchill gave an interview to the Brooklyn-based "Satya" magazine. Here are some excerpts:

**************************************************************

This issue of Satya is trying to push the debate about whether or not violence is an appropriate means for a desired end. With animal activists, there’s a growing gap between people who feel it’s not and others who feel that, for example, breaking into laboratories to liberate animals or burning down property is an effective way to stop abuse.

Well, that’s an absurd framing in my view. Defining violence in terms of property—that basically nullifies the whole notion that life is sacred. People who want to elevate property to the same level of importance as life are so absurd as to be self-nullifying.

.............

That brings me to one question, which is, in general, people like to think they’re pretty decent. They don’t like to think of themselves as violent or complying with a system that is oppressive...

Heinrich Himmler viewed himself in exactly that way. He was a family man, he had high moral values, he’d met his responsibilities, blah, blah, blah—a good and decent man in his own mind.

Do you think that applies to most American people?

In the sense that it applied to most Germans [during the Third Reich].

..............

So if it takes eradication of the beast from within, how would you see that happening?

Well, first the withdrawal of consent, people imbued with consciousness to withdraw altogether from an embrace of the state.

If I defined the state as being the problem, just what happens to the state? I’ve never fashioned myself to be a revolutionary, but it’s part and parcel of what I’m talking about. You can create through consciousness a situation of flux, perhaps, in which something better can replace it. In instability there’s potential. That’s about as far as I go with revolutionary consciousness. I’m actually a de-evolutionary. I don’t want other people in charge of the apparatus of the state as the outcome of a socially transformative process that replicates oppression. I want the state gone: transform the situation to U.S. out of North America. U.S. off the planet. Out of existence altogether.

Ignore him?
Naw, we tasted blood with Mr. Rather and discovered it was fun exposing BS artists.
The potential here to bring a spotlight to the bogus academics will ensure Mr. Churchill's hide will be nailed to a shed. (Metaphorically speaking of course)

We were all created. Many of us devolve.

Ignoring him is same as handing him the keys to our future.

Huh? He is tenured at a public college, and thus has ZERO chance of being fired. And if he is fired, he has a nearly 100% chance of regaining his job through the courts. It is unfortunate. But by making him a national "star" we are in effect creating a 2nd Chomsky--who will now make tons of cash catering to the far left, and have student flocking to him like flies on shit--where he would have remained obscure and irrelevant had we simply ridiculed and dismissed him outright.

No. That's a tactic the left likes. There can be no forgetting this man's statements.

Hound him? I'd like to debate him. I'd like to slap him silly for poor writing. He's imitating Bakunin badly without the excuse of insanity.

These self-professed anarchists are self-serving intellectual blowhards and fifth-rate thinkers grandfathered in the 60's and 70's to appease the left.

This is a professor? This teaches? This has the termerity to guide a department?

What the heck is Colorado thinking. They are top tier in science, math, and business. I suppose having this joke of a deparment is their idea of levity.

"So if destroying property to make a political point is OK, then it would be fine to burn down this guy's house and blow up his car?"

It is a valid means of political discourse in Minnesota ---- if you're a Democrat (reference to destroyed yard signs, road rage, cars vandalized, a front deck of a residence torched in Richfield, and so on.).

I WANT WARD CHURCHILL OFF THE PLANET!!

If only it were that simple. There are countless ward Churchills in our academic system. And they are churning out the next generation of Ward Churchills as we speak.

It reminds me of my history pro. Who said in class that the only reason the US gave money to the Tsunami Relief was so that WE (the USA) can set up sweatshops.

It get's better than that. I'm bringing in my video camera.

I couldn't agree less.
The more people are educated about what these communists do and say the less they will support them. If there is enough outrage over this nut case then you you can bet that UC will wish they had canned him if they don't. It's the old money talks, BS walks syndrome.

Good for you. We can never win this war as long as these lunatics are running rampant on college campuses and molding young minds.

As I have been posting all along: Churchill calls for the violent overthrow of the United States government.

I caught that segment. Frightening, wasn't it.

The left is obsessed with critical thinking.

What nawhell does he think would happen to HIM if that happened?

This is what drives me nuts about so-called intellectuals; they think that because they ask "the big questions" in scholarly language, it gives them significance. It's rarely true.

I can begrudgingly admit that Ayn Rand is one that mattered. This clown? If the above sentence and the endless, specious Nazi parallels (Himmler...Little Eickmanns...Third Reich...yada yada yada) is the best he can do, he would better serve society by mopping the floors at McDonald's.
