.....""Nothing is so exhilarating as to be shot at without result."..............

No, not Jefferson or Churchill;

That sounds like J. F'n Kerry at the ceremony of his thrird Purple Heart!

The most recently in public at the event (less than a week ago) for the visiting Russian ballet in Pyongyang. I believe some diplos were also there and saw him in person. If not him, then a darned good 'double' of the Chia Pet.

Japanese news sources are now saying (7:45 a.m. local time) that KIM JONG IL has told the visiting Chinese delegation in Pyongyang that "North Korea has no intention of leaving the Six Party Talks." (Breaking)

Re #85

Yeah, it is a roundabout way of saying "No thanks! I stay home!" It would make appeasers fired up, though.

About time to plan another hit on Kim Jong-il. We had Ryongchon in last April, and shooting in last November.I don't know if the shooting was the planned event with outside help. Anyhow, they say the third time is a charm.:)

Kim Kyong-hee is said to be either an alcoholic or addicted to drug. Because of that, he is said to really ill or even have taken her own life.

I would rather he felled Il than felt ill.

I forgot to add to this thread (as I did in another), the Kim Jong il statement to the Chinese in Pyongyang yesterday, that was reported just within the last few hours, did in fact say that, it said "of course, with some conditions, we won't abandon those six party talks." Same old same old.

That must be Kim Jong il motto "Always keep them guessing" or off balance.

Thanks once again for keeping us all informed as to recent events and their context pertaining to North Korea... critical stuff right now and pathetically absent from MSM.

Thanks all!

I agree but I think it is the US and allies pushing this agenda to contribute to destabilization of NK.

I am curious as to the source of this article. What is their political bent?

Re #98

You are the most dedicated poster on my N. Korean thread.:) I hope you stick around until this whole N. Korean thing reaches its inevitable grand finale.

I hope it is coming this year before Christmas.
