A former Malden wrestling coach who called his students ``disciples in training'' and instructed them to perform sexual acts to be a part of his team is facing charges of raping one of his students and more victims are likely to come forward, according to authorities.
Prosecutor Michelle Margolis said Everett Bower, 32, asked his wrestlers to perform sex acts as the culmination of their four-step indoctrination into his ``family.''
Bower has coached boys wrestling at Savio Prep High School in East Boston, Malden High and Malden Catholic, though he's currently unemployed. Margolis described in court how he would instruct his young charges to tell him a secret and show him some act of devotion before performing a sex act in order to be initiated into the club.
She said she expects more victims to surface now that one 17-year-old Malden boy has told police about the alleged abuse that began when he was studying judo with Bower at age 8.
The abuse allegedly began with Bower touching the boy's genitals, giving him alcohol on out-of-state trips to judo tournaments and ``huddling'' naked with him, Margolis said.
When the boy resisted, ``He would then hold him, kiss him, hug him and tell him, `You know I love you,' '' Margolis said.
The teen, who wrestled under Bower at Malden High, came to police after Bower allegedly invited him into a bedroom at his Medford home recently and used a sex toy on him before placing it on himself, court papers said.
The teen told police Bower has used the sex toy on him since he was 14. On other occasions, Bower would invite the boy to watch pornographic videos and masturbate with other teens at his home, prosecutors said.
Bower has also allegedly disciplined the boy by hitting him with a wooden paddle and a physics book until his buttocks bled and one time pinning him down in a shower and shaving his genitals with the help of another student, Margolis said.
At Savio Prep, where Bower last coached wrestling and taught chemistry, former students said Bower was known as a ``pervert'' who ``taught punishments,'' gave students extra credit for doing push-ups against the wall and would frequently grab his crotch during class. They also said he would boast about showering with student wrestlers. Bower's family posted $1,500 bail.

The term 'homosexual' itself, while Biblical, has been used so much of late in a deliberately wrong manner--that I try to use terms that makes more emphatic the perversion such behavior constitutes.

Being Liberal MA, I just assumed it was a Liberal cesspit named for "Saint" Mairo Savio, of 1960s UC-Berkeley "Free Speech Movement" infamy.
Child molesters don't usually fare well in prisons in the US. I expect MJ might suicide if the trial looks like it might conclude with a guilty verdict. This coach will probably do some hard time, so to speak. Do folks such as this receive similar treatment whilst incarcerated, across the pond?

You hit the nail on the head. If schools are giving kids "sensitivity training" for homos, why shouldn't they be tolerant to all sexual deviants??? Makes perfect sense to the minds of kids.
While we have been preoccupied with the dangers posed to our children by inanimate objects, namely guns, they were under a much more dangerous assault from animate objects, namely psychologists and psychiatrists.
We may thank Dr. Laura Schlessinger, radio talk-show personality, for sounding the alarm that the American Psychological Association (APA) is lending itself to propaganda designed to soften attitudes toward sex between adults and children.
In July 1998, in their Psychological Bulletin, the APA published "A Meta-Analytic Examination of Assumed Properties of Child Sexual Abuse Using College Samples." The authors did no research of their own. They used 59 earlier "studies" (two dozen of which were never published or given peer review) to develop the goofy conclusion that unforced sex between an adult and a child may not be a harmful experience but a "positive" one.
The North American Man-Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) considered the study "good news." Their web site proclaims that "sex does not pose the danger to minors claimed by police, prosecutors and prudes crusading against man/boy love."
Apparently, the current mayors of San Francisco and New York City agree. Why else would they choose to march in "homosexual pride" parades, along with a self-identified group of proud and practicing pedophiles?
The Journal of Homosexuality is out front on this issue. In 1990, it published a double issue of articles dealing with "Male Intergenerational Intimacy." One article asserted that a "loving pedophile" can provide "companionship, security and protection" for a young boy and should be viewed by parents as a "... partner in the boy's upbringing, someone to be welcomed into their home."
Why do many homosexuals defend pedophilia? The reason is obvious: The boy who has been sexually gratified by an adult male is a prime candidate to a same-sex orientation when he becomes an adult. Pedophilia is a gateway to homosexuality and bisexuality. Keep in mind that homosexuals are made, not born.
But it is the American Psychiatric Association that deserves "credit" for beginning the process of normalizing sexual deviancy in all its forms. In 1973, this organization removed homosexuality from its list of psychological disorders -- based not on new evidence or studies but on pressure from homosexual members of the association.
In 1996, these psychiatrists took the final step. They revised their Diagnostic and Statistical Manual to reflect a fundamental change in their official approach to all sexual deviancy.
The essence of the new approach is this: No matter how heinous the sexual perversion, if the pervert does not feel shame or remorse, he does not have a psychiatric problem. In effect, these experts in human behavior have formally stripped morality, decency and common sense from the strategy they use in dealing with all forms of sexual perversion.
The goal of their therapy, when guilt is present, is to get rid of the guilt, not the perverted behavior. The idea is to make perverts feel comfortable with themselves. The problem is not what people do, but how they feel about it.
This explains why a cultural war is being waged in America against moral codes, traditional values and standards of common decency. It is a war to eliminate guilt and the sources of guilt. It is a war to justify human degeneracy.
The sad truth about the human species is that we are all flawed and in need of redemption. Most of us, however, are not so arrogant and inverted that we seek to have our flaws declared virtues.
Homosexuals are advancing a dangerous agenda, using the forces of government, the media, public schools and pseudo science as battering rams to break down traditional family values. They are mutilating the concept of Christian love by defining it as a moral imperative to embrace human depravity and tolerate wickedness.
Here are a few of the elements of the homosexual agenda: the right to marry someone of the same sex; the right to adopt and raise children; the repeal of sodomy laws; the enactment of hate-crime laws making crime against them more significant than crime against heterosexuals; affirmative-action status that gives them special protections against the attitudes of others; a special affirmative-action program for AIDS; a lowered age for legal consent of sexual behavior; access to the Boy Scouts of America; the pro-homosexual indoctrination of school children; and validation from every man, woman, child and institution in America that their flaws are virtues.
The homosexual community is consolidating its gains and expanding its purple umbrella to provide cover for other sexual disorientations such as transsexuals, transvestites and bisexuals. Are pedophiles next? Where does it end?
It is said that morality is about drawing lines between what is acceptable and what is not. It is time for some serious line-drawing in America.
