The Truth about Iraq!
http://www.therealiraq.org ^

Posted on 02/24/2005 5:26:06 PM PST by SteveYoung

We have set up a site with many letters direct from Iraq. These Letters Home tell the truth about the good things our solders are doing today in Iraq!

www.therealiraq.org

Frustrated with all the bad news on Iraq, a group of patriots stateside developed The Real Iraq. This was the result of our now number one contributor simply writing a "letter home". On his first tour Randy Fritz, would send home an email letter, telling a story of the good soldiers were doing in Iraq. From the complex drilling for, and purification of water, handing out seeds to a community, or a simple toy to a Iraq child, the stories are captivating!

Regarding the FireFox problem, thanks. I am aware of it but have not been able to solve it. The Blog is in WordPress 1.2.2 in a inline frame under the menu system. It looks fine in Explorer and others but has this problem in Mozilla. No one at the WordPress site has found a solution (but they are all helpfull and great people). I plan on upgrading this weekend to 1.5 and hope to solve it. 98% of the browsers so far are Explorer but I use FireFox at work myself so I would like to solve the problem.

We do not do this for a living but I can not take it (the normal press) any more.

OK so I over the last two years switched my business to Lowe's because HD had done some real bonehead things. Namely you couldn't get checked out, I HATE to wait for 25 minutes to give them MY money. This story has me switching back to the orange box.

Thanks HD for taking care of that family!

We are from Londonderry, New Hampshire

"Live Free Or Die"
John Stark born in Londonderry, New Hampshire, August 28, 1728

On August 16th, 1777, John Stark marched his New Hampshire militia across Vermont from Brattleboro to Bennington to keep the British from raiding supplies whose loss might very well have resulted in the fall of New York.
Before the battle, Stark passionately addressed to his troops: "Yonder are the Hessians," he declared. "They were bought for seven pounds and ten pence a man. Are you worth more? Prove it! Tonight the American flag floats from yonder hill or Molly Stark sleeps a widow!"

"...the National (and World) press does not tell the truth about what is going on in Iraq."

That is right, they don't!

They need to re-sign Marino!
Actually I think they would do well to get either Griese or Billy Joe Hobert who played at Raiders/Saints/Colts before Ditka ruined him making him play on a torn achilles :/

Thanks for the ping. This is always welcome information, it's heartening to see the otherside, you know, the one the LSM doesn't want us to see.

My son's good friend, Josh, sent on an email sharing what a friend of his, Captain Ryan Mitcha - Texas, was doing in Iraq. Ryan saw a need and asked for help from home. Ryan's mom, family, and friends helped organize donations to be sent to Ryan. You will love the story of Ryan and others doing so much while in Iraq. I thank Josh and his mom for letting me be a part of Ryan's endeavor.

What a great story, and even better that the "real" press is reporting it for a change! Pass our site along to him we have about 7 contributors now in Iraq. The instruction link for those in Iraq is www.therealiraq.org/in_iraq.html

The interesting thing is people are coming back to read the story's (be sure to check the archives!), on the average 6 of them and spending 20 minutes at the site.
