AUSTIN- Gov. Rick Perry has signed a concealed handgun agreement with Pennsylvania, the Texas Department of Public Safety announced Monday.

The agreement allows Pennsylvania residents with concealed-handgun licenses to legally carry their weapons in Texas. In return, those licensed to carry handguns in Texas are allowed to take them to Pennsylvania.

Texas also has reciprocity agreements with the following states: Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado and North Dakota.

I just hope we don't reach a gastronomic agreement - they couldn't handle our cheesesteaks and pretzels - washed down with a Yuengling beer...

Oh, I don't know. People who can wash their jalapenos down with Mescal and eat the worm shouldn't have much trouble with something that has bread around it.

And anyone who will drink Shiner bock can drink battery acid if they want.

Likewise... I'm sure you guys up there couldn't handle our 72 ounce steaks or our armageddon-hot chili, let alone our barbeque. Also strongly doubt whether you could even survive long enough to finish up with some Ziegenbock...

With all due respect, if we were to have invented cheese steak down here in Texas, we sure as heck wouldn't use bell peppers.

Our recipe would contain jalapenos or habanero's and Texas 1015 onion. Besides when I get a cheese steak, hot pepper sauce is a pre-req. Don'tcha just love America!

Spent four years eating pretzels and mustard, cheesesteaks, wings and Yuengling.

I still like Yuengling.

But Shiner Bock works in a pinch.

Shiner has been brewed since 1909. Not yet 100, but still a fine old beer.
