Real news for Stewart: Wife arrested
Jon Stewart could be forgiven if he arrived a little late to yesterday's taping of "The Daily Show." He was busy getting his wife, Tracey McShane, out of jail. The normally wisecracking comic looked understandably anxious as he waited while his handcuffed sweetheart spent close to five hours being booked for driving with a suspended license.
McShane, 36, was driving through Central Park around 11 a.m. when she was pulled over for a moving violation, police confirmed to us.
Stewart's spokesman, Matt Labov, said: "She wasn't speeding. But the police discovered that she had a suspended license. She didn't even realize it. She paid a ticket last week. But apparently her check hadn't been processed."
Following procedure, cops impounded her car, cuffed her, loaded her into a squad car and took her to Central Booking.
There, police sources said, she was fingerprinted, posed for a mug shot and held while cops checked to see if there were any outstanding warrants for the arrest of the mother of 8-month-old Nathan Stewart....(excerpt)
(she) but thanks!
I love when newbies go troll hunting. Kinda like when a new deer hunter is eager to get his first buck, and kills the neighbor's cow...
BTW, if her old man would have not been so obviously pandering to elect Kerry and ridicule Bush, I would have never given this story a second thought.
Comedy Central was where the MTVers shifted to this past election. Some disagree, but I watched Stewrant ramp up to attacking Conservatives all last year, despite missing GOLDEN opportunities to attack the MSM, which was why I originally liked the show when it first came on.
His Emmys were given to him when he started kissing the Hollywood Leftist's ring.
Oops! Sorry. :)
The Strom Thurmond one is pretty funny.
Let's go find another picture of someone we don't know and make fun of it! That'll show those damn lefties!!!!
real mature... sometimes makes you wonder what has happened to the quality of the posts on this forum
Are you watching the Daily Show now? Has it gotten any better than it was? I used to really like it, but my humor got rubbed raw after the 257th joke about how stupid the president is.
Dennis Miller is a good example of equal but opposite. I can poke fun at both sides in politics, as long as it feels like both criticisms are funny.
I like South Park, I'm no prude when it comes to comedy :~D
So... is bass fishing funny? :~D
Length of "service" may not be the best measure.
Newbies?.....sound's like Oldies talk...."%*&^$ wippersnappers".
The biggest ZOT I've seen recently was to a 2002 FReeper.
No offense taken ;~D
The humor that I found disgusting is the obscene "f" word dominated banter I saw on the DUmb website that you apparently like to lurk on ... Anything negative that happens to the far-left-of-the "Karl Marx" crowd I find especially appealing as "they" seem to get away with literal murder (i.e. Mary Jo's fate when she rode in Teddy's car). Using your and Michael.SF.'s analogy, because Castro routinely executes political opponents, we shouldn't criticize his regime...hello???
MMmmmooooooo..
(Duck and cover)
Am I the cow in this scenario?
Heheh.
meandog & I are showing you the door on this one. Frankly, I like it! Bwahahahahaha!
I do lurk at DU... I find them to be juvenile mean little twits... I just wouldn't emulate them, I'd stand far away from anything that resembles them. But that's just me :~D
You're serious, aren't you?
That's so cute...
And he already has kitty pictures, too!
Yes, "Chickie" is getting reaaaaally annoyed!
Why do so many liberals pretend as if not knowing or being ignorant is an excuse for breaking the law?
