ZOT! A Liberal Rates FreeRepublic - It's Not So Bad

You folks would consider me a liberal, and I am not embarrassed at the label. I certainly believe in a safety net for society and helping minorites who otherwise would not be given opportunities.

I had heard about FreeRepublic and expected this site to be a sinister plotting device for crazed right wing freaks. It's really not that at all. It is mostly a chatty mix of simplicities and Bush hero worship. It's actually rather timid here, you might even say banal. I guess it's the sort of intellectually challenged place that you would expect from red state denizens who were fooled into voting for Bush.

So, I am not offended by this site at all. I will encourage other liberals to see what FreeRepublic is.
