CBS Blows it again; releases pre-written article on Terri's death

I would suspect they have another version that says he wasn't with her. There are probably a dozen different versions of this story that CBS has prepared but the only reason we even know they had one was because some dolt accidentally posted it.

I'd say emotions are high on both sides of the Schiavo debate. What's wrong with that? Or is it that only YOUR side has a "semblence of reason."

The triage system of euthanasia depends on a determination of the value of the life to be ended, in other words, a worthless life is not worth prolonging.

The repurcussions for organ harvesting are stunning. I've been meaning to have the orgain donor designation removed from my driver's license for some time, and now I'm really going to do it. I can just imagine officials in some hospital deciding that some young person's (or celebrity's) life is more valuable than that of a menopausal homemaker.

I find it disgusting that Felos is spending so much time in her room in the first place. Why should he be there? Michael Schiavo has, at times, revoked the rights of her family to visit, but here goes Felos, right in there for his visit and here he is to report on the stuffed animals. He ought to have the basic compassion to stay away and let her family at least grieve in peace. It's downright ghoulish and insulting to Terri and her family. Of course, when I heard Michael Schiavo's "spokesman" talking about Michael's love for Terri, and realized the spokesman is the brother of Michael's lover/mother of his children, I realized that a sense of even the most elemental decency is lacking on that side.

Organ harvesting is alive and well in trauma centers around the country, I would not dream of designating to be an organ donor on a driver's license.

The hospitals and doctors make BIG money on it.

I am so angry I could spit nails. What this article, written before TS dies proves beyond a shadow of doubt, is that CBS is going to paint this as MS is a devoted hero of a husband. The main problem is: only God knows when TS will leave us, and there is NO way to predict WHO will be in the room with her when it happens!!! She may go when her family is there, or just doctors, or just nurses.

Regardless of the truth, CBS will tell the masses what they WANT us to think of her passing, not the truth of her passing!

That would not be unusual. It is my understanding that newspapers (and likely any television network involved in news) make it a practice to prepare obituaries on famous people long before their deaths, just so they can quickly get them into print or on the air once the persons die.

Amazing how the story changes - IIRC, this version comes from a Schiavo brother in order to support the bulimia claims. Guess they ate at 5 am then.

Rush spent some time on this today, with some Felos audio clips talking about the "peace and tranquility" of the room ala flowers, soft music and stuffed tabby under her arm. All three of your posts echo points he made. Called Felos "creepy" a dozen or so times, says he's in love with death.
