You hit on the very important point of this thread---the fact that ONCE AGAIN CBS is "writing" the news on reporting it---just like Rathergate!!!

How in the heck can ANY MSM organization expect for the masses to ever trust what is said/written when stuff like this KEEPS happening even after the embarressing episode with the Rathergate "memos"?

To me this particular thread is a LOT more about the media "screwing" the public, than MS "screwing" Terri--although I remain totally aghast at what MS and Felos are doing to her---

Well, exactly, the MSM has set (for the most part) their sites on brain washing the public that this is so peaceful and serene. Also, MS is a tragic hero, fighting to honor his much loved and respected wife's wishes.

I am pretty sure that regardless of who is with her when she dies, we will be told that it was MS, holding her hand and gazing adoringly into her eyes....

I just tried to explain the fact that Michael appears to have been building up to this for quite a few years, by trying to fool the public into thinking he really believed the PVS Dx.

PVS is now a Legal Diagnosis for a patient to be sentenced to starvation and torture. And as we have seen in Terri's case, is almost impossible to remove except by the same judge that allowed it the first time. I have been cautioning people to look into the Medical diagnosis in the charts of loved ones who may be in similiar situations.

If they find PVS and the patient is responsive to their environment or anything similiar, dispute it and try to get the doctor to get it out of the chart. I'm sure there will now be a rash of newly diagnosed PVS patients so we need to monitor them carefully.

Also, IMHO a Living Will will be considered a Do Not Treat order by many physicians, and should not just be done without a great deal of research, consideration and specifics.

I believe it was Felos who described the flowers, music and stuffed tabby cat today in his press conference. Maybe it's true for today, but Michael has reportedly banned music, flowers or so much as opened blinds or comfortable temperature. I found the reference to the stuffed cat indescribably chilling, in light of the fact that Michael euthanised Terri's two cats back when he wanted to move in with a girlfriend with a dog (not the current girlfriend).

Notice that they refer to Terri as Michael's "first wife". Do they have confirmation that Michael is an actual Bigamist - if so they need to bring it forth now while Terri lives.

The fact that Felos personally lobbied for the FL law revisions of 1999, one of which was the inclusion of PVS as a condition where artificial life support can be removed, is very telling.

That lead exposes it as a fraudulent article to anyone who's been following the case, and has read that Michael forbade anything decorative or cheerful in the room.

Those close friends have been telling newspapers that Terri never excelled in school. She sometimes talked about becoming a veterinarian, but got barely passing grades while in Catholic school. Her interests during school years are unclear, though she shied away from boys and parties.

This is not very complimentary of the "deceased". Why must the author focus on the Terri's negatives? I'm sure there are plenty of good things she could have written about.
