Don't Democrats just kill ya!
=======
They also have an extremely serious health problem...
They Each It And Eye !!! ;-))
What other stores are in the strip? I would suggest yall boycott if they won't listen. Funny that they allowed it all this time and yall say even the police were directing people to park there? When heavy traffic happens around here , home owners and businesses welcome people to park on their property (for a few dollars of course:')
Any way you smell it, it stinks...Pinellas County = Dying For Dollars

I agree with you, Theodore!! The contracts for towing vehicles is usually given out by the Sheriff's office in most counties. My guess, is this can be traced back to the Sheriff and Greer.
It's a total outrage and more injustice. They are doing all they can to stop those who support Terri and her family. It's disgusting. Gov Jeb Bush should be made aware of this and refund the 166.00 dollars to those people.
I hope Scoop knows about this latest injustice.

All those who post on FreeRepublic should be against what has happened in Pinellas County. From what I've heard, there are lots of Freepers who sided with the scum husband.
They need to know the truth and band together to stop this continued abuse of Terri's supporter.
"No protest parking please"
What part of that request is difficult to figure out?
Bump.
"One more email/fax to the Governor while we're at it, folks. Not that I expect he'll do anything."
The Gov should take up the cause of people's parking? LOL
"What is wrong with Pinellas County? They need a good sweeping from top to bottom."
So you condone people not respecting the wishes of others and not obeying the sign?
"It's a total outrage and more injustice."
Why are you against private property rights?
I condone justice, and justice was not served in Pinellas County.
Check this out!!!! ROFLMAO!!!!
If you think the problem is about parking, you probably shouldn't be reading this thread. But you definitely shouldn't be reading my posts.
As usual, I have various thoughts, lol...
1. It is disingenuous of the author to pretend that they were "Winn Dixie shoppers". For one thing, he noted only 2, one only buying water. For another, you're a shopper while you're shopping - not while you're somewhere else. It's even worse than going into a restaurant, ordering a coke, and keeping the table all day.
2. It depends on how big the parking lot is. The only Winn Dixie I'm aware of is by itself with a small parking lot. Could be the manager got lots of complaints by actual regular clientelle for the 150 cars of protesters taking the spaces.
3. If there was space to spare for them, Winn Dixie was stupid not to mark off a section just for the protesters. Heck, even supply free drinks or something. Great opportunity turned into a possible boycott.
4. If parking space was tight, the protest organizers were inconsiderate. They should have found remote parking and transport service.
5. If the sign was covered and they weren't verbally warned that this could happen, they shouldn't have to pay a dime, no matter what. Car towing companies are notoriously unfair and rude - I'd love to see them have to refund the protesters.
Well, how 'bout that it was a tiny sign put up after the fact and quickly washed away, an hour or so later, and at the entrance to a mostly empty parking area.
I saw it. I parked there for quite awhile, then that day, saw the Pinellas Community watch whatever car hovering like a spider seeking flies. People would park, bothering nobody whatsoever as we had done for a couple weeks, then once walking to the intersection and out of sight here comes the spider pounce. Pure malice.
The space was large and empty. The Winn-Dixie employees were nice and supportive. One loaned me a cart to bring water to the people in front of the hospice. There was always more than enough parking even at the highest density of crowds. The trap was set not just there, but at the MacDonalds and other businesses nearby, same day, all were suddenly off limits. I was buying at Winn-Dixie until then, and went off to park at another place where the people were all too happy to help us.
Even at its worst, the clean tidy cars did not even make the parking lot unusually full. After those orchestrating struck, though, the parking lot was unusually empty. It was a planned and coordinated attack on innocent and well intentioned people. Anyone here who saw it understood it.
Well, then Winn Dixie should be ashamed of themselves.
I've seen this happen a lot - I think it's a $ thing - lots to be gained if you can tow that many cars. In this case, $20k was a pretty big motivator.
I bet the manager got a kickback. He could easily have stopped the towing as soon as he discovered it happening.
Sleazy.
Yes. Despicable!
Trying to find out who owns Winn-Dixie and the towing company.
