Right. The Sheriff who Mike works for, helped out his nurse. And they all had a good laugh about it!
"I condone justice, and justice was not served in Pinellas County."
Parking on someone's private property is a right I suppose?
Check this out!!!! ROFLMAO!!!!
Guess he doesn't much care for snowbirds?
"If you think the problem is about parking, you probably shouldn't be reading this thread."
It's not about parking and cars being towed off and having to pay to get their cars back.?
Kinda like someone that goes into a restaurant, orders a cup of coffee and expects to stay all day? When mgt says they need the table for other patrons they muster up this rightous indignation.....I got rights you your property! LOL
Do you have witnesses to this?
Where are supermarket shoppers supposed to park? In the supermarket parking lot? The nerve!
It does sound pretty shaky, but it is their property to do with as they wish.
Is it any different than a cop hiding behind a billboard and catching speeders? In both cases people broke the rules and have to pay the consequences.
Something about be responsible and not blamming others I think.
Are you a dog?
So it is not Winn-Dixie's fault, but the owner of the strip mall. Can someone find out the connection to Schiavo, Greer or Felos?
A little bit different. Using your analogy it would be like the cop urging the driver to speed, and then giving them a ticket for doing so!
Hire a lawyer. Keep your receipts to prove you shopped. Sue them.
Okay - I have just pasted this to my blog - with all the necessary info - and I have something to add - THIS IS GRAND THEFT AUTO.
Last time I checked - it is still a FREE country - even in Florida, sort of - and you ARE ALLOWED TO WALK ANYWHERE YOU LIKE.
IF YOU PARKED YOU CAR AND WALKED ACROSS THE STREET AFTER SHOPPING, AND CAME BACK TO FIND IT GONE - IT WAS STOLEN!!!
FIRST, visitors to Terri were SENT to the lot BY POLICE - trying to control the parking situation. Like Derby time here in Kentucky - pre-arranged places are designated as parking areas, and you are directed by police to park there. You may have to pay - but many times you do not.BUT - your DARN car IS THERE WHEN YOU GET BACK!!!!!
IF POLICE DIRECTED YOU THERE - it is either another part of the conspiracy through the law enforcement under Greer's orders (they have been there long enough - make them go home...), or, as the writer suggested - the manager of the Winn Dixie and the Lot owner had already made up their stance on the case - and decided to make us conservatives pay.
IF I WERE ANY OF THESE PEOPLE, I WOULD RUN TO THE NEAREST ATTORNEY'S OFFICE!!!
This has got to be the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard!
You know, I really wanted to retire in Florida, and my parents just moved to Sebring last April - but now - after ways in which my parents have been screwed with fees for everything( you have to buy a permit to apply to get a new driver's licsense), and this obvious Tyranny of the Law Enforcement and Judicial system - I do not think I even want to VACATION THERE!
Good Lord Almighty - what is wrong with people????????
AND , BY THE WAY - THANK GOD WINN DIXIE CLOSED HERE IN MY TOWN - OR I WOULD BE ON THEIR DOORSTEP TOMORROW!!!!
THE NERVE OF SOME PEOPLE.....
On his show the other day, Michael Savage said it's too dangerous to drive through Alligator County, as he calls it. One could be pulled over by a cop for a traffic violation and then vanish from the face of the earth.
There is a Winn Dixie within walking distance of my house and I will never shop there again. What an outrage!
Really! I love how Michael Savage pulls no punches.
Winn Dixie again! A few years ago, Winn Dixie personnel turned in a customer for spanking her mischievous child in the store. As a result of the ensuing uproar, that Winn Dixie store almost went out of business.
