We people see that, Bush sees that, but the Rangels of the world are counting on the the greater number of Americans not seeing it!!!

This is why Rangel and other Cong. Black Caucus leaders are NOT good for their constituents and are "holding the black man down"---they keep repeating this crap, over and over, but tell the black people that THEY are watching out for their best interests---

That hasn't been the case at least since Jesse Jackson became king of the black people of America....

The dude is pure Teflon...nothing sticks.

I'm a native NYer and moving to NJ made it nuch easier to ignore him.

He makes "Adam Clayton Powell, Jr." look like an amateur, but he gets reelected every time because of the power of the Dems in NYC, and the fact that everyone is afraid to go up against him.

Over the past 5 years, though, his remarks have gotten more and more bizarre and partisan...big friend of Clintoons.

Can we impeach the real fraud here, Roosevelt, for foisting the Ponzi scheme on us in the first place?

I am reading "The Roosevelt Myth" by John T. Flynn. The fraud that FDR perpetrated on this country is astounding. And Xlinton had nothing on FDR as far as dirty politics and graft.

Top House Democrat Charlie Rangel said Tuesday that it was an act of discrimination to label groups like Hezbollah "Islamic terrorists."

Asked about the refusal by some European governments to declare Hezbollah an Islamic terror group, Rangel told WWRL's Steve Malzberg and Karen Hunter, "To call it Islamic terror is discriminating, it's bigoted, it is not the right thing to say."

Rangel even questioned whether, in fact, a worldwide Islamic terrorist movement even existed, saying, "We just take for granted that there is an Islamic terror movement because we do have some fanatic people who come from Islamic countries."

The Harlem Democrat complained: "When we had the Ku Klux Klan we didn't call them Baptist terrorists. When Hitler was killing Jews, we didn't call it Christian terrorists."

Rangel said Americans needed to realize "that a lot of countries may be poor, but they still have pride. And that is one thing that we completely ignore."

saying it would hurt black Americans disproportionately.

I guess the average life expectancy of blacks has taken a big uptick since last week.

My understanding is that what we got isn't exactly what FDR had in mind. But I'm sure the USSR wasn't exactly what Marx had in mind, either.

The SS system was supposed to be "temporary" to get Americans through the depression....from my understanding. As it stands right now...most people (instead of working hard and saving) use it as a primary source of income when they retire. The politico run rampant... have misused these funds for pet projects for YEARS..that have nothing to do with SS(which will be bankrupt by 2008 at the rate it's going) One of those pet projects...I found out....was painting barns in Vermont. ????

Factor in that we've aborted a huge base of taxpayers over the past 30 yrs....and then people wonder why they have to keep taxing the rest of us more and more to help keep our politician's pet projects going? These people with a welfare mentality think money just grows on trees or appears out of thin air.... and they're "owed"...even though a majority of them don't contribute significantly, in their own lifetimes. Ok...../rant

He's trying to cover up for the fact that Rush exposed the CLINTON PLAN TO CHANGE SOCIAL SECURITY yesterday. It seems Clinton wanted PERSONAL ACCOUNTS - with 5% (thats FIVE PERCENT) - WHICH IS 1% MORE THAN BUSH IS PROPOSING.

Evidently, Rush showed how the repubs were anxious to help Clinton with this legislation and were actively involved in discussion meetings regarding SS.

Quite a bit different than how the dems are acting today.

Besides - Rangel can be counted on to cry "impeachment" whenever it gets too hot for the dems .. because he thinks it will get traction.

Keep it up Charlie! Charlie's outragious commentary is why Hannity loves to have Rangel on Hannity's shows.

Bush is willing to admit that the trust fund is worthless

That's the glory of the private accounts. The deathrats keep screeching that it will be debt. The truth is it will soak up the current excess of funds paid in over funds paid out so that in the end the payers will get the money and the United States Spenders in Congress won't. THAT'S what angers them so.

People like Rangel are why I hope, some day, that science can make stupidity painful.

LOL! For now, just keep giving them chain saws and gasoline.

Hey Charlie, is violating the Constitution an impeachable offense?.....

Then you better throw yourself on the mercy of the House, for your strident support of every gun control scheme that comes down the pike.
