VANITY: Anyone listening to Savage? He started with the First Lady

All right. Finished Medved, and on KSKY-660AM, Savage follows.

Get this: He immediately starts in with the First Lady, talked about how the "Bushes" played the Christian vote for suckers, and he gives compliments the first ladies of France and Germany over ours. Next, he whines about his being "blacklisted."

This mouthbreather is something else! Have at it. I had to share.

I've never listened to him and based on your report, I see I haven't missed a thing.

This is what Savage posted on his site! SAVAGE BLACK LISTED BY ALL MEDIA OUTLETS We expect blacklisting from the MSM. But, what does it say to you when the entire Fox News network refuses to cover the leading conservative voice in radio?. I am the only radio personality to have 3 best sellers in a row. Yet, Fox News blacklists me because O’Reilly is afraid to debate me, while Sean Vanity is incapable of any debate. They continue supporting a failed presidency, the first lady’s vulgar vaudeville routine before the liberal press and a failed war, which fewer and fewer Americans support. Instead of interviewing me, a true independent conservative, they insult their base (like Bush) by covering the runaway bride, fingers in food, American Idol, and Michael Jackson's porno.

I am used to swimming against the current, to spawn my ideas in the fertile waters of the independent American Mind. But, I have not encountered a total and absolute media blackout as I do now. As my message of Borders, Language, and Culture continues to penetrate America, the government/media complex has circled their wagons. During Stalin’s dictatorship in the ex-Soviet Union, people were either sent to prison camps, executed, or made invisible. In America, Michael Savage has now been made invisible.

Because I continue to support Borders, Language, and Culture, the power mad tyrants adhere to their own definition of borders, language, and culture. To them, their borders are limited by Washington D.C.; their language is government-ese; and their culture is “I scratch your back, you give me an interview”.

Despite this Stalinist campaign against my independent thinking, my radio show continues to grow and thrive; while my 3rd book in the trilogy "Liberalism is a Mental disorder", continues to sell briskly. It is now on the NY Times best seller list for the 3rd week in a row. Thank you for your support

Jack Daniels is OK if I'm making a hot toddy with lemon and honey when I have a cold, but for just sippin', Elmer T. Lee is fine stuff.

I quit listening to Michael Savage after his huge ego surpassed his actual worth, and he got booted off KSFO. He is a windbag.

He does deserve some sympathy, though, because of his disability. He has lost use of his arms, as they are always engaged in patting himself on the back.

He does not stand for anything. His "opinions" are simply based on whatever will get him ratings. In this regard, he is no better than Bill Clinton.

Does he drink all that much?

Here's my review of his last live show at the Chronicle Pavillion in Concord. See for yourself.

It sounds like .38sw was at the Marin show, where he insulted the older people (who were dressed in evening attire as opposed to shorts and tees) as the left in disgust.

"He may be abrasive and really charged up but he isn't afraid to take things on and even if something is wrong on our side of the fence, he isn't afraid to point it out."

Agreed. He seems to admit to his manic depression and obsessive/compulsion. He also seems to be a kind of megalomaniac, but there's something compelling about him, with his New York accent and way of cutting through the baloney. He usually hits the target politically. However, he leans left on economic issues and doesn't seem clear the need for nonpolitical judges to resolve our judicial/constitutional crisis.

I think he is more disappointed with her, than angry at her. He used to go ga-ga over her beauty, grace and class. The fact that she stooped to gutteral, bestialty jokes you would expect from liberal pukes like Rosie and Whoopi, is what really upset him. His image of her is now tarnished and he can't handle it.

Michael claims that his ratings is great, But the truth is that Mark Levin on Wabc 770 Ny has much bette ratings than savage, But look what the angry Savage write on his site...
Michael Savage Bucks Trend; Leaps on WOR
While talk radio in general lost a large percentage of its core audience from the preceding three months, Michael Savage bucked that trend on WOR (in NYC persons 12+). In his 6 PM hour, he achieved a 3.3 share; his 7 PM hour pulled an astonishing 3.9 share, and in his 8 PM hour he pulled a 3.3 share.
By not pushing the Republican Party line, Savage who identifies himself as an “independent conservative” continues to draw new listeners, while other conservative talkers lose audience.

The 2000 show you mentioned sounds like what happened - he had a young woman in a short dress on stage that kept refilling his glass, and his wife finally came on stage and took the bottle. It wasn't funny, it wasn't entertaining. It wasn't in Marin, unless he did the same thing there. The show I attended was, I think, Hayward, or Fremont. I don't remember exactly. I used to like him up until then, but after that, I listened to his show less and less, and finally quit altogether 2-3 years ago.

We don't get Savage here until 7pm EST, we miss his first hour and quite frankly most evenings I only listen to the first couple of minutes, the man is usually on a rampage of some sort, liberalism is a mental disorder, agreed, but mikey boy needs meds!

Savage is certifiably psycho. I actually feel sorry for him. You know Rush's bravado is shtick. With Savage, you feel like you're eavesdropping in a mental hospital.

You might be talking about the very first show, "Try 'Em and Fry 'Em." I hear that one was in a small banquet room at a hotel in the Fremont area.

The second show, "Name 'Em and Shame 'Em" was at the Marin Civic Center in 2000. In that show, he had an assistant who kept refilling his glass until his wife came out and took the bottle away.

The third show, "Savage Uncensored" was at the Chronicle Pavillion, where he again drank too much and couldn't finish the show (just like with the second one).

I'm not sure how often he hits the mark if at all. I find that he very often advocates ideas that have zero chance of fulfillment. He rants and never comes up with workable solutions as he so focused on tilting at windmills. Rush is the only guy i get some insight from when it comes to understanding what's actually going to happen as well as insight as to why. I'm also tired of Savage not allowing a single word of disagreement with his gospel. The other day he called a woman who supported Laura a slut for virtually no reason. She was polite and disagreed with him and he went right into the slut thing with her slut kids in the background. He sounded smashed and completely off his rocker.

This is what? Day # 3 of his relentless attacking of Laura Bush? I think I had heard him one time before starting to listen to him off and on about a year ago. (Had to find something to do so I never had to look at O'Reilly again. He starts live in his last hour here at 8pm, then the first two hours repeat.) What a strange angry dude he is and except for the anger he reminds me of O'Reilly. Same arrogance and lack of respect for his audience; same 180's on positions if it's to his benefit; same trashing of and sucking up to media. Both of them appear to have no core values except for liking and promoting themselves.
